Could Detroit’s money trouble be holding up justice in a high-profile double murder case?
It’s been nearly a year since 18-year-old Jacob Kudla and his 17-year-old friend Jourdan Bobbish left their Westland homes — never to be seen alive again. Their bodies were found five days later in an overgrown field near City Airport, along Lyford Street at French Road on Detroit’s east side. Both were found dressed only in undergarments, with a gunshot wound to the head.
“They beat the kids up, put them in the trunk of a car and took them to a field and shot them for the fun of it,” Bernie Kudla, Jacob’s dad, told WWJ’s Marie Osborne.

“I wake up every morning sad with a broken heart, thinking I have to go through another day of this,” he said. “Jacob was the best thing ever and, you know, I was waiting for grandkids, and that will never happen.”
“The only thing that keeps me going today is trying to get justice for him. That’s the only reason I get up,” she said.
The parents said they are especially frustrated because police told them that the people responsible for her son’s death are already behind bars, awaiting trial on two other murders.
“We know how, we know where, we know who, the police department knows who, the prosecution knows who,” Vergie Kudla said.
Officials have told the family that there isn’t enough evidence to try the case, so they can’t sign an arrest warrant for the two alleged killers. The family, however, said there is plenty of evidence. The couple feels that the prosecution is just unwilling to go forward because they have the perpetrators on other cases.

It wasn't quite random, the two had gone into Detroit to buy drugs.....and the murderers were the dealers.
Exactly the sort of thing that put me in dangerous positions in my misspent youth.
Fortunately the guy I bought my pot from back then was a good man and made sure to take care of us dumb white kids wandering the hood like morons.
The brother was eventually found murdered in a crack house on Detroit's east side, sitting on a sofa with a close range bullet hole in his forehead.......
Yup. Some situations are never going to end well.
Sound advice, but we shouldn’t have to rely on firepower to deal with what is essentially a social problem. Especially when you consider that many of the victims of black violence are children and teenagers in mixed schools, who would never have recourse to such means to defend themselves.

Yes, blacks are preyed on by other blacks also. I haven’t the foggiest clue how to change the black “street” culture that has taken hold in this country. More than anything else, it will be up to blacks to reform their own culture or live with their “internal” consequences.
Just as I don’t approve of the “Obamaphone” program, I would not approve of an “Obamapistol” program to arm the black population at public expense.

Believe you are engaged in gorilla warfare—because that gorilla war is being waged against you.
If this was my child jail would be where they would want to be. If I got the we cannot prosecute I would handle it and let them prosecute me, if they could prove anything.
Wouldn’t need the bulls eye. That’s a given.

“I want my son and I can’t have him. So, the least I can have is justice for his name,” she said. “I need that piece of paper that says my son was murdered by these people. I want it to be known who his killer was. I want him to not be a statistic,” she said.
These parents deserve justice.
The Duke LaCrosse trial, the Zimmerman trial, the slapdown of Paula Deen (being a Democrat wasn't enough to save her from being a white southerner), the filthy Hollywood garbage like "Banjo Unchained", the Jeremiah Wrights, the "Holder's People"---short of enslaving white people to satisfy the chronic spite of black people--will America ever be free from black racism?
A 12 year old white boy in Philadephia was recently murdered by a couple of young black thugs in school.
If they already know who then....SSS.
There has to be a ruckus about Section 8. Section 8 guarantees that there is no such thing as a safe neighborhood anywhere in this country. Demand an end to Section 8.
