Get ready for the bribery bids to go out.

There are still three-plus years to go on the Obama presidency, but the city that gave the world shakedown artist Jesse Jackson is already getting in gear for a racial spoils fight over where the presidential library should go.

USA Today puts the squabble more delicately in a story Sunday, “Race, class emerge in battle over Obama library.”

No lieberry tours due to Hussein's sequester. That's a shame.

Give it to South Side Chicago. Nobody will want to go there to visit.

Is the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library a moneymaker?

This is kind of ironic. Obama has made his chops through race and class warfare, but he knows if he puts his library in a depressed urban setting it will be ignored and turn to ruin in no time.

My guess is he'll choose Hawaii.

If Chicago State, true. If Univ. of Chicago or UIC, no.

Give it to em. They’ll trash it, rip it off, graffiti it. It’ll be great.

The library should be located in Kenya.

Gawsh, how much I don’t care!! Why are blacks being belligerent about this? Better yet, don’t allow white people in the door at all, or charge white people ten times as much, the better to appreciate the Obama style of racism.

I agree, with a rail line that goes directly to Baltimore. Lets give these rich white liberals a good taste of diversity.

I’m with you. Put it in the swankiest liberal area you can find and let the results of liberal policies infest the area.

Legitimate questions:

With so few documents, will there be enough material to line the shelves?

Will Bill Ayers and others house their documents there?

Will the books on the shelves be the type you can buy at book stores that have blank pages?

yep...take over several apartments at Cabrini Green, knock out the interior walls, put some shelving in, hire some gubment workers to play librarian, and viola!

They shouldn't need much of a building for a couple of decades of Mother Jones and Empty Closet magazines, Mao's Little Red Book and well worn copy of Race Baiting for Dummies anyway.
