So the child is deprived, in a kind of existential way, even if there is no early gay "propaganda," no overtly abusive behavior, no precocious sexualization. Everyone --- but especially the child --- is required to uphold the lie that the child has no need for, no right to, even no interest in, a father and a mother.

That's a good restatement of what the author said at more length. He emphasized the pain for the child in being told, openly or indirectly, "Your needs are irrelevant. Your feelings have no weight compared to adults' desires."

As fwdude pointed out, the Regnerus study and other data indicate that additional abuse and distortion of normal sexuality is extremely common for homosexuals' children; that indeed, they don't recognize the existence of "normal sexuality." We also need to remember that, behind the propaganda, homosexual couplings are very unstable, so children are exposed to breakups and random sex-partners in the household just as are the children of the value-free underclass, with the parade of "stepfather," "fiancé," "Mommy's boyfriend."

I’m actually changing my tagline on this since it seems that “conservative groups” are shooting themselves in the foot again with another not-so-conservative “true conservative” candidate for Senate. It’s time to play hardball.

Like Ryan, I was down on Dick Cheney when he was still a cult hero here.

Cheney was hailed a hero here up till about Spring 2010.

Early Spring 2010 he goes on Sunday shows critical of Obama on terrorism, that's all it takes to be a hero: ‘Cheney for POTUS’, no-no maybe it was Cheney-Palin, or was it Palin-Cheney?? whatever..,,

Then a month or so later he announces he is for legalize same sex marriage. ‘What?? How can this be??’ they asked. later he said he was happy DADT was repealed 'General Patton Cheney' DA-DA-DA

Absolutely it is child abuse. My father was gay and everyone I know who had a set of ‘gay parents’ was abused.

The sorry state of the foster care system was no help, if I were a partentless kid I’d rather have a couple dykes with a nice house than be in some craphole with 10 other kids so some fat scuzzbucket can collect a welfare check or worse yet some prison-like group home.

I asked my mother, queers or orphanage? She would have picked orphanage.

Why can’t they see that all adults are supposed to look out for the interests of children. Children come before pervs.
