Educators boogie to 'When it's over you ain't gon need ya vibrator'

(WARNING: This story includes a video and rap song lyrics of a sexually explicit nature and may offend some readers.)

At its 2013 national convention in Atlanta last week, the National Education Association encouraged teachers to dance to a sexually explicit rap song that featured the “N”-word and declared, “When it’s over you ain’t gon need ya vibrator.”

The NEA, a nationwide labor union that represents public school teachers, played the song titled, “Wobble,” by V.I.C. at its “Raise Your Hand” conference – which was publicized as an event focused on “empowering educators to lead.”

In a video of the incident posted by EAG News, dozens of union delegates – mostly women – can be seen enthusiastically boogying and shaking their backsides to the lewd rap lyrics.

At the same conference, NEA President Dennis Van Roekel asked a massive crowd, “Do you believe that our 3 million members know how to improve student success? Do you?! Do you?!

“Do you believe this is our time to create union-led change for our classrooms? Do you?!

“Then I ask you to raise your hand for the success of all students. Raise your hand for great public schools and social justice.

“Raise your hand for America’s educators! For America’s future! NEA, raise your hand!”

Despite all the rain I thought Midtown smelled a bit rancid last week.

Do you believe this is our time to create union-led change for our classrooms?

Sure. Because they've been so successful at it so far. Forty years ago there wasn't a first-grader in the country who knew how to put a condom on a banana.

Whatever that may be, it's definitely not education.

We should have protested their presence.

I was pretty busy with other stuff, though. Out of town, in fact, if it was the first part of the week.

How much more proof to people need that sending your children or grand children to unionized public schools is nothing short of child abuse?

1) Home School if you have the time
2) Private School if you have the money
3) Last choice, a non-union Charter School

Any choice leaving a child in unionized government schools is guaranteeing another generation of America hating liberals and you will be a major part of the problem.

I doubt any teacher there could actually understand the lyrics.

They had no idea what they were dancing too.

I also noticed that they obviously aren’t eating the Michelle Obama cafeteria food. Most were heavily obese.

I just contacted both newspapers in my area and forwarded this info to their education reporters. Also sent the story/video to local radio talk shows and left a message with Gov Scott. We need to be on the offense with these stories.
