Which basically the prosecution was hoping for — VERY unethical on their part.
Just my opinion.

YES....jurors, witnesses, etc....should all be forbidden from discussing the case....especially that friend of “O’s” son, who is part of the “new” generation....what a circus.

My faith in American stupidity has been restored.
Over the past few years I have begun withholding empathy and sympathy from liberals I know who have been victims of criminals.
It really fries 'em, and never occurs to them that I am only returning their attitude about my right of self defense.

Lawyers LOVE to see the SYG laws abolished. This is the ultimate pay day and one of the reasons why the law with its immunities were passed in the first place, because of shyster attorneys who no matter the circumstances see some form of payday via negligence suits everywhere. The only time about attorneys I am happy is when I see one ambulence chaser suing another over some form of malpractice.

SYG wasn't invoked. Besides, you can't very well retreat when flat on your back and straddled with an MMA style of punching pummeling your head into the concrete. It is defend yourself or die. Fortunately, Zim had a means of defense. He did call for help multiple times before Trayvon discovered the gun.

"She wanted to find him guilty of something but couldn't because of the law. The way the law was written, he wasn't responsible for (negligent) things that he had done leading up to that point,"
She should realize that this isn't an issue that relates to how the self-defense laws, this is because the prosecutors did not want to charge GZ with the substantially lessor charge of Negligent Homicide. Ironically, the prosecution was essentially arguing negligence, but then trying to hold GZ accountable for murder. I don't buy either argument, but it seems the jury would probably have found GZ guilty of negligent homicide if the PA had included it. IMHO, they deliberately left it out to try to force the jurors to convict on a more serious charge.

Next shoe to drop will be charges of jury misconduct so the verdict can be set aside and we can go thru this train wreck again.

By the end of the week she will be appearing at a press conference with Jasmine Rand and the Scheme Teamers calling for the jury verdict to be overturned.

the tort reform aspect should be expanded into an absolute bar to ANY civil liability. In fact a lawys should be required to sign due dilligence affidavits which make them PERSONALLY responsible if they fail to check for a not guilty.

Trayvon had a duty to retreat. Instead, he attacked and thus became a felonious criminal
He was not brought to trial because justice was done. He was dead

By the end of the week she will be appearing at a press conference with Jasmine Rand and the Scheme Teamers calling for the jury verdict to be overturned. I cant help but think that any ongoing commentary by the jurors is going to be bad news for GZ. Eric the Red et. al. will come up with some penumbra in the law that says they can nullify the verdict if theres reason to believe the jury was confused, coerced, blah blah blah. Crazy, sure, but the Left is out for blood. I put absolutely NOTHING past these commies. Ladies of the Jury, shut up!
