What about the media? Guilty as sin.

Meaning that said aforementioned guilt rests upon the media.

You know what? No. If you don’t live there, and you haven’t been invited there as a guest or a licensee and you are there I am suspicious of you.

The other day two young white guys had pulled into my driveway. You better believe I was as suspicious

This was a virtual lynching that the media didn’t get their victim. Hope he sues them out of existence.

Pray for America

Goldberg has it wrong: the neighborhood in question was not predominantly white, it was racially diverse.

Problem is the RACIST ANGLE came from the LEFTISTS and not from Zimmerman. They incorrectly labeled Zimmerman a White Man from the beginning . Zimmerman was doing his job. Trayvon was screwing around maybe up to no good. Trayvon had a huge HATE WHITIE chip on his shoulder, and most likely thought Zimmerman was white also. That may have led to his not going straight home and then attacking Zimmerman.

“So when Zimmerman saw this black kid in his mostly white, gated community, he did some quick, reflexive calculations — and thought the boy might be up to no good. Yes, he did use color as a ground for suspicion.”

We don’t know that, and I would argue that it isn’t so. Had Trayvon been a white kid in a hoodie, walking around casing the neighborhood, George would have done the same thing. The word black was an after thought to George as he answered the question from the dispatcher.

What made Trayvon Martin a criminal, among other things, is the fact that he assaulted George Zimmerman. It wasn’t self defense, and it wasn’t necessary. He did it because he thought he could get away with it.

Otherwise, I liked the piece.

The most amazing thing about the media is the fact that while everything they say and print is recorded, they never remember how consistently wrong they are.

Not even, sorry, we will try to do better next time.

I doubt they even have internal meetings to discuss why the public has absolutely no confidence in their reporting. If they do, they seem more likely to blame the intelligence of their audience for not “getting it”.

I hate it when conservative pundits feel a need to concede to parts of a narrative that has been pushed.

No different than claiming to have black friends to prove you aren’t a racist

NBC shamelessly has altered media to sway listeners to
imprison, or murder, Zimmerman --- and they continue daily.

If it's a gated community which I believe it is, the gf or dad should have known that there was a watch.

Furthermore, maybe you can't bring in guests to stay without getting prior permission? Most of these gated communities are pretty strict I would hope if I lived in one and especially if there had been the string of incidents that had people in fear.

IOW maybe they sneaked him in. And maybe they didn't. That the assn paid $1 mil damages, settled rapidly through the ins co, implies that he was allowed to be there without notification or had permission.

Or maybe they paid the damages because they were afraid of getting sued or a shakedown by the "other" vigilantes and having to pay more? I don't see where it was the assn's fault in any way.

Maybe somebody knows why they should have paid damages.

Yes, if only George had known there was a new guest in the community and who, it likely wouldn't have happened.

Goldberg has it wrong: the neighborhood in question was not predominantly white, it was racially diverse.

Goldberg has it wrong: Treyvon Martin had a record of the school police finding stolen jewelry and break-in tools in his backpack. He is on record as musing on how fun it would be to rape. I have read that his father was a Crip, but I don't know that for a fact. Accordingly, Zimmerman was more likely to be making his conclusions from the body language of a punk cruising a neighborhood looking for an easy place to break in as he was the race of the kid under the hood.

I don’t agree that Trayvon was profiled by Zimmerman.
I also do not agree that Zimmerman was too vigilant,

I half way do not believe this was a tragedy.
Martin was a thief and drug dealer in training, He liked to beat up on people, who knows how many people he would have injured if he wasn’t stopped.

Perhaps I am wrong, he may have graduated Summa Cum Laud, but the odds are better that he would have ended up in jail for assault, theft, or murder.

I give nothing to those crying for Martin. He was a sneak thief and thug. His parents were total failures as parents and now they want to make a buck off his death.

Trayvon image and narrative was developed and marketed by a PR firm.

Lengthy but a lot of info, Recommended Reading:

Aw c’mon, Bernie. These people aren’t going to change. The only thing that will help is if fewer people listen to them

They can’t admit they’re wrong, any more than any other “progressive” can admit they’re wrong. They’re always supposed to be the smartest people in the room.
