Obamacare was stunningly stupid in that so many of these adverse results were as predictable as human nature. The GOP doesn't have to replace it with anything. It just needs to repeal Obamacare for now to undo the damage that has been done.

This pure BS. Please do some research. Hint: it will take only 3 minutes to search on online.

Last week, the Teamsters, the United Food and Commercial Workers, and UNITE-HERE wrote Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) that Obamacare “will destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans.” Obamacare, they wrote, “will shatter not only our hard-earned health benefits,” but is already creating “nightmare scenarios” in which “[n]umerous employers have begun to cut workers’ hours,” leaving workers with “less pay while also losing our current health benefits.” In April, the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers, and Allied Workers called for “repeal or complete reform” of ObamaCare.

Boy I would love to have been there when Harry and Nancy read that letter.

It must have been like getting a letter from your best friend telling you that he/she is bedding your spouse.

Although this should have been totally expected.

That's the conventional wisdom. You want the GOP to produce some 2 or 3 thousand page monstrosity? Lets start with insurance that's for disasters like any other kink of insurance, and not for routine care. Next, get everybody's insurance treated the same way, not one standard for big companies and unions, and everyone else has to fend for themselves. Let's make some sense here before tackling other items.

If the GOP truly has a workable plan to replace obamacare, I wonder why they never even tried to propose it when they had their chances.

Our current health care problems did not start only after Obama took office. There is no chance any replacement of obamacare will work without some fundamental and unpopular changes on how we look at health care and the role of insurance. For those not interested in any half-baked plans hastily put together just to counter obamacare, there is no point wasting even one minute researching it on the Internet.

And nobody is even addressing tort reform which is the main driver of escalating costs.

(Brilliant Neurosurgeon) Dr. Ben Carson: 'This Is the Beginning of the Collapse' of Obamacare
NEWSMAX ^ | 16 Jul 2013 | Greg Richter / FR Posted by george76

Delaying implementation of key parts of the healthcare law and losing the support of labor unions are just the beginning of trouble for Obamacare, says Dr. Ben Carson. "It's gonna be a lot worse than this. This is the beginning of the collapse," the retired Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon said on Fox News Channel's "Your World" on Tuesday.

"Usually when you roll out a big program, you roll it out bit by bit. You determine what's working. You can change things," Carson said. "But to try to roll out something this massive without really knowing what the intricacies are is quite foolish." (Excerpt) Read more at newsmax.com ...

One wonders what these Democrats (not a Republican vote to pass this beast) ever envisioned would actually occur.

Only the deranged twisted mind of a progressive could have dreamed up the h'care mess.

As FReeper Lou L wrote: Shows the mess Ohaha created, and why the WH apparatchiks cannot make it work more than three years after its passage.

Each "box" represents huge organizational beauracracies with people stumbling over themselves; each "arrow" represents hundreds and thousands of information requests and transfers. Those interfaces will have some common calls, but they'll have to be customized to fit each carrier's system and customizations. It seems as though a lot is being left off the "health plan" -- all the costs, all the restrictions, have to be passed along as well.

The thousands of "Navigators"---govt-issue clerks--will offer you "guidance/" And that online calculator...does it tell you how much you're being soaked now, rather than before the saving grace of O'care?=======================================================

Amazingly the lower Rube Goldberg chart is supposed to "simplify and explain" O'care......designed by a consultant group paid to assist in the process of getting states to create exchanges (the ones that interface with 60,000 IRS agents, the strongarm HHS, and an assortment of know-nothing snoopy federal agencies).
