What are you going to say? Nothin', that's what. What is there to say?

This is just the socialists attempting to avoid the natural consequences of the monstrosity they have birthed and called "the New America."

I have not studied law, but I think I could be a better judge than this judge.

<...”And the 50% that remain lit are serving as beacons for the copper thieves as they continue their dismantling of Detroit’s remaining infrastructure”....>

That’s right! lol....They should just level Detroit and be done with it....but then the people there would end up in our cities!..... I think OBOZO will rescue the city again...using our money of course.

Why do we need a Detroit? Are there not decently run cities nearby?

All that is going on here is right vs left and the left is bound and determined to FORCE Americans in 49 other states to cough up 18 billion dollars in pension fund bucks for the criminal public employee unions in Detroit who have been in a decades long effort to STEAL all this money from taxpayers by buying judges, among other things. The only thing standing against them is a few votes in the HOuse. Senate and Prez are bought and paid for just like this utterly corrupt judge.

Democrats/liberals are like bratty spoiled children. They NEVER have to pay for their crimes, either in facing the law or just paying via natural consequences (having to pay off their own debts, etc). They always expect someone else to bail them out from their bad choices. Unfortunately, the spoiled lawless parents force the law abiding family next door (conservatives/taxpayers) to pay to fix their "children's" mistakes.

These people that tell me that I should not worry about big government and continual expansion, that the government is benevolent and will only act in my best interest. Then they claim that those people “in the government” need to belong to a union because their collective bargaining protects them from their evil managers, who are also in the government.

So, I am not to worry because the government is always good, but those employed by the government need protections because it is always evil.

Judge Aquilina can rule all she wants, won't mean spit. The pensions are liabilities (creditor section) in the bankruptcy filing. Therefore a federal bankruptcy court is now the court of jurisdiction.

I kinda like the judge's letter to 0bama. Hope it reminds him of his "how he would save Detroit," speech.

And they still got a “loan guarantee” in the end which is exactly why NY has a debt of around $110 billion dollars today.

Wonder how many times that same “guarantee” has been leveraged? FDIC, PBGC, student loans, plus all the myriad guarantees for DOE, USDA, etc. programs.
