Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas agreed to resume peace talks with Israel only after U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry gave him a letter guaranteeing that the basis of the negotiations will be Israel’s pre-1967 borders, two senior Palestinian officials said Saturday.
The officials, both of whom are close to the Palestinian leader and privy to internal discussions, said the U.S. letter also stipulated that both sides are to refrain from taking any steps that would jeopardize the outcome of the talks. Israel is not to issue new tenders for Jewish settlements in the West Bank, while the Palestinians are not to pursue diplomatic action against Israel at any international organizations, the officials said on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to brief the media.
“The talks with Kerry were about to collapse, and the letter came as a lifeline in the last minute bargaining,” one of the Palestinian officials said. …

In case anyone has forgotten, the Palestinians will never be happy until all Jews are dead. That’s a basic part of their religion of peace.

Why doesn’t Israel just say that they will NEVER go back to 1967 borders. That they will NEVER stop building in the so-called occupied territories. If attacked we will respond with a factor of TEN. That the use of tactical nukes is on the table. That there will NEVER be a Palestinian state.
After you accept all of these terms, call us. Until then there will be no peace talks.

Someday this world will get their agreement dividing the land, and when they do, this is what I believe happens:
The division of the land from the June 7th, 1967 (second) restoration of Jerusalem (and Judea and Samaria) is being done by ‘principalities and powers in high places’ (Satan) to hinder/obstruct the specific requirements being met to count Daniels 70 weeks (or 490 years determined on Israel, not the Church)
The gospel is the Jubilee, Jesus accepted it in Isaiah 61, but was rejected by Israel and was cutoff at 62 weeks, not 69 as most conjecture, the 49 years or 7 weeks were accepted, its him, its his work, its what Israel rejected and thats why the angel broke it up, and tells us he was cutoff at “62 weeks” or 434 years, meaning there are still 56 years remaining of the 490 to be completed, a future Jubilee (declared at 49 years and then on Yom Kippur) and then the last week of seven years,
See Daniel 9:24, Gabriel gives two requirements to begin counting days:
1) “thy people” (Israel restored 1948) and
2) “thy “holy city”(Jerusalem restored 1967)
The restoration is in place, but not the time element, not a jubilee yet,
And its the breaking, and seeking to change these times and seasons we’re told of in Daniel 7 that brings the end, its this event that sets in motion the judgement upon the Earth.
Joel Chapter 3 mentions it occurring specifically after the restoration of Jerusalem and Judah in the latter days, Isaiah 11:11 tells us there is only a second restoration,
I believe this is why Satan is thrown out of Heaven in Revelation 12 (he’s there now accusing the brethren) and its why he seeks to change Gods set times and Laws, and its why Jesus is returning as it says in Isaiah 63:4 “vengeance is in my heart and the year of my redeemed has come”
It’s the Jubilee restoration of all things. Peter tells us the heavens must receive him until the time of the restitution of all things, its a Jubilee,

This is (I suspect) why in Revelation 11:2 that Jerusalem is given over for 42 months. I also believe that Israel has to agree to it, Satan with his Nimrod in the white house or whatever pit he eventually is permitted to lift him up from, they cannot bring it, and the UN cannot decree it as they tried in December of 2012, that is, to undo what God has done in the Earth (flesh), and no manner of force is possible to obtain it without their (Israel) agreeing, and if they would only trust God it could never happen, but at some point they will, voluntarily, for “peace and security”
Its a ‘covenant with death’ and God is going to annul it, see Isaiah 28:18.
At this time the “court sits” and the judgement is set per Daniel Chapter 7, and we’re shown more details in Revelation Chapters 4 and 5. Jesus will take legal possession of the Earth as our kinsman redeemer and legally repossess the land using the Jubilee (and the framework which he gave to Moses as the Law for which he then used to insert himself into the world to make restitution for us all) Its how he reclaims the physical Earth for the Kingdom of God in the resurrected flesh,
Its how and why the end comes when it does.
Jesus came into the world as the Word, he is the Jubilee made flesh, and that covenant which he made in the flesh (not in his Spirit as with the Church) is tied to the physical land as much as to the people, and this is why Satan has to destroy those requirements (and Israel as a restored people who can call for its completion) from reaching their conclusion under the Law with the fullness of time for both the Gentiles and the 490 years for Israel to become complete,

There are many liberal Jews that do not care about the state of Israel. Many more liberal Jews buy the “land for peace” propaganda hook, line and sinker; they actually believe that giving the “Palestinians” their own state means that the Jewish state of Israel will be allowed to “coexist” in peace.
Ever heard the leftist propaganda that claims that “fundamentalist” Christians want to actually bring about the Apocalypse by causing WWIII in Israel so that all the Jews can be exterminated there—and that is the only reason Christians support Israel? (There are several websites that broadcast this lie.)
The most pro-Israel people I know are Christians. And not because we want Israel destroyed. I hope the Lib Jews haven’t sealed Israel’s fate.
