Money can't buy the kind of political boost Huma Abedin is receiving. Like her mentor Hillary Clinton, the stand-by-your-man strategy will be her gateway to widespread popularity and respect.
Don't feel sorry for the Democrats over losing a former rising star politician like Anthony Weiner, whose future is so hopeless that even the New York Times says it's time to go. They have gained an even more promising candidate for high office. Huma Abedin is better-looking, better spoken, and more appealing than her role model. Yesterday's performance ("whole lotta therapy") was superb, establishing Ms. Abedin as dignified, strong, and starting to look as American as apple pie.
Although raised in Saudi Arabia, Ms. Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a natural born American. There is a lot of big money help behind Huma and her hubby.
Last year, The New York Post reported:
"After quitting his Queens House seat amid a notorious sexting scandal, Weiner and beautiful, brainy spouse Huma Abedin, a top aide to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, landed in the sprawling, 12th-floor Park Avenue trophy residence owned by Rosen Partners LLC, which is headed by close Clinton pal Jack Rosen, records show. Rosen - who oversees the American Jewish Congress - is an influential international political force. He's been a guest at the White House, flies the Clintons in his private plane, and has poured money into both Bill and Hillary Clinton's election campaigns over the years, according to campaign-finance records.
He has also contributed several thousand dollars to Weiner's coffers, and is a top Obama bundler, donating more than $500,000 to the president's re-election efforts.

The parallels are just so blatant.
It’s all just likely just plotted and staged in advance, for our consumption. MOI: enable your “man” to screw up in an over the top way, then climb over him to fame and power.
So sad for our country that we have to endure these low lifes.
Maybe when Huma establishes sharia in NYC, they will let them have their 32 oz drinks back.
If the American people were the opposing NFL team, instead of compliant sheep, they would blow the opposition out of the stadium.

Unfortunately, Huma’s directly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. One can hope that would doom any ideas of public office. But with the RATS ya never know.

I am completely mystified as to why being the “faithful” wife to a perverted, lying and destructive creep should qualify anybody for the office of President.
I didn’t understand it with Hillary and I sure don’t understand it with this chick, who is on top of everything else not only an associate of but related to some of our worst Muslim enemies. Gads.
That is a PLUS in America today.
This has always been about giving the Clintons control of New York City, one way or the other.

It’s a fair comparison. Both men committed a disgraceful act with their penis.
I’m having a real hard time making the leap between being a “smart, strong woman” and standing meekly by a piece of scum who casually violates the sanctity of your marriage.
Of course, we all suspect this marriage is a sham anyway, given rumors and suspicions over the predilections of Ms. Abadin; one could see why Weiner would seek gratification elsewhere in that case.
You have to be liberal to understand why standing by your man, for liberal political wives, is a qualification for political office.
