Actually, the immature prefrontal cortex of the dead thug punk is further justification for Mr. Zimmerman to have shot it.
Bottom line - the dead thug punk didn’t have the discretion or discernment to figure out that it shouldn’t have been trying to murder Mr. Zimmerman.
It further bolsters Mr. Zimmerman’s claims of acting in self-defense: The dead thug punk didn’t have the mental maturity to stop short of murder.
So I agree with the authors "science", but disagree with his conclusion.
That actually makes more sense than some of the strained explanations coming from the left.
Yes, I clearly remember being a just turned 17 year old Marine with a not fully developed prefrontal cortex, and, at that time, I would have eagerly fixed a bayonet on my M1 Garand and assaulted the Gates of Hell. If anyone thinks a 17 year old can't be extremely dangerous, they're wrong.
Martin's liver was already showing damage due to the drug mixtures he was subjecting it to.
Imagine what those drug mixes were doing to his brain, to his cognitive functions and integrating his emotions and his ability to deal with stress, in addition to whatever hormonal influences his almost 18 yo mind and body were dealing with.
Martin's mental programming, his choices of influences and beliefs, was the major factor and detriment to his reacting appropriately to Zimmerman, assuming Martin wasn't casing the neighborhood, as both his history and his actions might imply.
I can easily see myself as Zimmerman and have been in a few such situations helping my neighbors, but I cannot see myself as Martin.
I have been Martin's age and wasn't always as I am now, not at that age, but I never embraced his thoughts or beliefs, nor how he handled that situation. Garbage in, garbage out.
It really didn't have to be this way. Better choices equal better consequences. He chose poorly.
What the Hell kind of story is this, and the only thing Martin had in his head was a bunch of sh!t.
You lady have a DEFORMED CRANIAL. Trayvon chose to stick around and confront Zimmerman. He did not know if this was a robber, cop or thug. That is how a STREET THUG OPERATES not a little boy. He made a huge mistake. Quit with the phony crocodile tears and turn your effort into the inner city black kids getting slaughtered each day.
I don't remember where I read it or who said it (Heinlein?), but I haven't found much to counter the quote "The single most dangerous animal on the planet is an adolescent human male."

I didn’t realize until now that we had such blind professors here in Nevada.\
It might help explain why in the 9 years I have been here that the gang & graffitti & crime problems have grown out of control.
As much as there is to do after dark in Reno & Carson City, I wouldn’t go to either town for anything that is after dark. There are already parts of both towns that I won’t enter in broad daylight.
The black & Hispanic gang problems grew to fast here, it seems the authorities just didn’t get the message fast enough.
I personally think both towns are going to be hard up to recruit policemen in the future & to find strong district attorneys to prosecute these troublemakers.
W arrived in this area, I didn’t look over my shoulder at all. Now I do it as a matter of fact. We even had a group that fired a gun inside the nearest Wal-Mart and they all got caught. With budget cutbacks in all the counties, the gangs think they have a free ride.

I contend if Zimmerman had his gun out, as I sure would have had under the circumstance, Trayvon would see he was at a disadvantage and would have taken his Skittles and skipped on to where be be stayin.
Why did carjackings almost vanish overnight? Because of Conceal Carry! Your life doesn’t mean poop to them, but theirs does. Any time they see they are not the most powerful in a situation, they pass.
I see that the local DAR chapter needs to re-think their choices.

There was a weird documentary on that lefty DOC Channel about the Liberian rebel leader General Butt Naked. Even though Sundance Productions intent was to show a converted kinder gentler ex-General Butt Naked, it was easy to get a glimpse of what America would have in-store if the Africans ever really got the upper hand. Check it out if you get a chance. It’ll make you care a lot less about the current high price of ammo!!!
