Sybrina Fulton repeated her assertion that neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman "got away with murder" in the 2012 killing of her son largely because of Florida's self-defense law, which generally removed a person's duty to retreat if possible in the face of danger. It was the first of its kind in the nation when passed in 2005. Now, about two dozen states have similar laws, but the focus of repeal efforts is squarely on Florida.
"We have to change the law so that this doesn't happen to someone else's child," Fulton told reporters

Although he was not part of the event, the Rev. Jesse Jackson appeared as a spectator and later told reporters that the "stand your ground" law reminded him of past laws that prevented blacks from sitting at the front of buses.

The Justice Department is investigating whether Zimmerman, who identifies as Hispanic, may have committed a hate crime in killing Martin.

You probably got it, there...
They want to use these thugs as their intimidation squads,
and the idea that intimidation squads should use unopposed physical force.
“dissing”, especially by someone outside the tribe,
requires a beat down in response.
Well, the liberal view is that Zimmerman should not have gotten out of the car the night he saw Trayvon. To them, that act started the entire incident. And so everything that happened as a result was Zimmerman’s fault. They say that Trayvon was defending himself.
And remember, that girl friend of Trayvon’s said that there was fear that Zimmerman was a homosexual rapist.
Notice the lack of an Afghanistan body count in the media???
So, with this dissing business, are we now supposed to adopt ghetto standards into mainstream society?? The concept of dissing is a ghetto thing.
Even that girl of Trayvons, Rachel, in an interview, said that Trayvon was giving Zimmerman a whoop ass, which I assume is some ghetto term for beating someone up and showing someone who is boss.
Yep, it is. It is an artifact of the urban anti-culture.
And, no, we are not going to adopt their anti-cultural standards.
Be armed, be prepared to use it, and avoid/profile to save your life.
I think what many people are missing here, because they are sane and rational, is that the facts of the case are not relevant to the target audience for this message. If you are not familiar with the communities to which this message is intended, you might project on those communities that the facts are more important than ethnic solidarity. If you don’t understand cultural differences, you could easily misunderstand how others think. Although the facts don’t remotely match the narrative, the people perpetrating the mythology know that facts are not important. What is important is what team you are on and that all others who are on that team know what point of view is acceptable if individual team members are to avoid ostracism. I know this from pesonal experience.
All the more evidence that the liberal view is based upon things that were not and are not true.
No b!tch!
LLS
— and parents do need to be held responsible.
That is what I see here! and instead of putting to use her experience as an ‘absentee mother’ and their children’s need of a strong family unit, the blame is going in the wrong direction.
Fulton and the other racists are focusing on SYG because they cannot focus on the real reason Martin is dead and that reason is that everybody has a God given right to defend themselves and Z. was defending himself against a murderous thug.
“Stand Your Ground”had NOTHING to do with The Zimmerman defense! It was “justifiable homicide”!!The Race-Baiters have grabbed hold of a willing accomplice(Martin’s mother),and she is on her way to be a STAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“There are none so blind as those who will not see.”
Rachel also explained to Piers Morgan that she thought the “Creep-assed-Cracka” was a Rapist who would rape Trayvon and then get in his house and rape the Step Brother. So he went back and gave someone he PERCEIVED to be Gay, a “Whoop-azz”.
