Rep. Darrell Issa has announced that he is expanding his investigation into IRS targeting of conservative groups to deal with alllegations that the tax agency put groups already tax exempt under additional scrutiny.
The Hill:
The IRS subjected conservative groups already granted tax-exempt status to additional scrutiny during the 2012 election cycle, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) charged on Monday.
Issa called on a Treasury watchdog already looking into the IRS to investigate the matter, and signaled he would expand his committee's probe into improper targeting of political groups given the new revelations.
Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), the ranking member on Issa's panel, accused the chairman of pushing a "political narrative" by picking choice quotes and disregarding contrary evidence.

Phony scandal, hmm? Could it be that our President is...I shudder to type this...LYING to us? Hard to believe, I know. Forget I mentioned it.

These scandals are not phony!
And they are only meaningful if they lead to an Obongo Bozo resignation or impeachment, conviction and imprisonment!
Any other outcome is a mockery of our Constitution!
I am not holding my breath!
The phony scandal is the Martin-Zimmerman thing
Wish I could get a job like Rick Moran has. It must be nice to be paid for taking others articles, adding opening and closing paragraphs and posting the article as your own.
Nach, why not just post the article from the Hill? Mr. Moran does not add anything of value.
Generally I like to post from the original, true. I also have a distaste for repackaged news. Rick Moran is not alone in reposting news items from others on another website. Most of the conservative websites do exactly the same thing. You can add Breitbart, The Weekly Standard, The Blaze, and the Daily caller to the list of sites that do this with a great deal of the news.
However....
Many times, the first place I see the item is when someone posts the 'repackaged' story. So, I don't mind giving them a few hits to get the story out. It's a living for them, and it costs me nothing :) Live and repackage, I say.
B-b-but media matters said progressives were and Obama said these are phony scandals...now who ya’ll gonna believe?* trick question*
The “Martin-Zimmerman ‘thing’” is not even a scandal. It is, however a racist “thing,” and is in keeping with the finest traditions of Obongo Bozo’s use of Alinsky tactics to destroy America.
The Obongo Bozo administration is an ongoing scandal, BTW!
Not to mention an ongoing criminal enterprise!
