Black Florida lawmaker calls Jesse Jackson a 'disgrace'
Tampa Bay Times ^ | July 31, 2013 | Adam C Smith

Posted on 08/01/2013 10:41:13 AM PDT by kevcol

“I first came to the Sunshine State as a young Air Force officer, and found a place so beautiful and filled with opportunity I decided to make it my home. When the entrepreneurial spirit took hold, my neighbors and colleagues embraced my new venture without prejudice or discrimination. In the decades since, I have been blessed with a loving family and a community where people are treated with respect.

“When Jackson uses language that describes us as an apartheid state and compares our governor to one of history’s most notorious bigots, he is either hopelessly out of touch or purposefully dishonest.
.
.
...for a man who casts himself as a defender of these rights to disparage Florida and our nation with reckless and unfounded commentary is a disgrace.

Too bad you can't truly shame the jesse Jacksons and Sharptons of the world who have no integrity to begin with. Too bad the LSM has not and will not bring up the deceipt and scams those 2 have perpetrated for 40+ years. Jesse Jackson said the other day Florida had become "toxic" since the verdict. Its only becoming pretty toxic for him and his activists to hang around.

Both Jackson and Sharpton know full well that none of what they say is true. They’re only in it for the money.

Jesse Jackson is full of it.

The governor of Florida caved into the pressure to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate this case, after the local DA declined to press charges. The only reason there was a trial in the first place was because the governor decided to be liberal on this issue, and give in to the pressures that a trial happen.

Against this backdrop, Jackson now says the governor is like George Wallace??? Is there any intellectual honesty in the race community???

Yes, Scott gave signs of weakness and they homed in on it. It’s too bad. Of course, if they boycott the state, I don’t think most Floridians (of any color) will be very distressed by it.

He's a black Republican in the Florida legislature.

I think he had already been cross off RHI's Christmas list.

Naturally they had to get in a dig at the Rep. writing that he is the only republican African American in the legislature. They just can’t resist themselves from making such comments.

Jesse’s home town, Chicago, is toxic and with his help. He likes toxic. His son grew up in toxic and suffering the effects of being toxic. JJ, keep your spit to yourself.

Lord God, please raise up people of character to run this country... turn people away from pornography, the hip hip culture of “I’m bad”, the culture of lust and worldly gain, reach down God and confound the efforts of the illuminists, the race pimps and the power behind political forces that would destroy all that is good and decent in this country... God bless this man who takes a stand, and may this cause others to finally take a stand for righteousness.

Reality is not anything anyone sees on TV. The reality of Sanford, FL, is that it is a nice, quiet, neighborly town where people get along every day. That’s the reality I saw every day when going there on business back a few years ago, but it doesn’t make it on TV because nobody got shot or cried “racism”. The Jesse Jacksons of the world know nothing of reality. They live on TV.
