” Earlier this year President Obama also expressed his intention to combat “patent trolls,” making today’s veto not unexpected”

jeeshs you would think Samsung patented a rectangular shape with rounded corners.

Regardless of the merits, it’s not Obama’s place to over-rule judicial decisions. If a judicial decision needs to be addressed, that’s what appeals courts are for.

Once again, Obama is in over his nine year old level head.

Now that Apple is locked into data sharing/mining with NSA, things might get better for Apple:

Apparently, while Steve Jobs was still alive, he kept NSA from data mining Apple’s customer on line data.

After Jobs died in Oct, 2011, our government probably put all types of pressure on Apple to get access to their data.

In the meantime Apple lost a law suit in Japan, which could have seriously hurt Apple.

Tokyo Court Hands Win to Samsung Over Apple
By HIROKO TABUCHI and NICK WINGFIELD
Published: August 31, 2012

TOKYO — A Japanese court on Friday rejected patent claims made by Apple against Samsung, a victory for the company after its crushing defeat in the United States last week and a reminder of the global scope of the patent war between the two technology giants.

Recent court decisions have put Apple back in the winning side versus Samsung. One can only imagine the pressure put on Apple to share its Data with NSA.

The link below shows a time table of Prism and its getting companies to agree to NSA data mining their data.

Now that Apple has granted NSA access to its customers on line data, the heat applied by the Obozo administration may be over, if Apple walks the line properly.
