U.S. Embassy In Yemen Evacuated, U.K. Closing

A statement issued Tuesday says the department has ordered the departure of non-emergency U.S. government personnel from Yemen "due to the continued potential for terrorist attacks."

The travel warning says U.S. citizens currently in Yemen should depart and calls the security threat level in Yemen "extremely high."

A U.S. intelligence official and a Mideast diplomat told The Associated Press that the current shutdown was instigated by an intercepted secret message between al-Qaida chief Ayman al-Zawahri and his deputy in Yemen about plans for a major terror attack.

Britain's Foreign Office says it has evacuated all staff from its embassy in Yemen due to increased security concerns.

The moves comes shortly after the U.S. State Department ordered non-essential personnel at the U.S. Embassy in Yemen to leave the country following

The embassies are closed to the public, but they are still being staffed by our people. They will reopen to the public when the threat has dissipated.

The muslims believe they can bring the 12th Imam (Muslims Messiah - Christianity and Judaism anti christ precursor) back to existence with increasing conflict bloodshed and whatever. Odumbo is doing this all for show, he supports the Muslims.

This is a huge security leak. The WH can't keep its mouth shut about spying on enemies only the the good citizens of the USA.

Maybe they should tell them how they intercepted the secret message.

Have to justify all their spying and distract from all those phony scandals...

Yeah. That's what my gut tells me, too. People aren't very happy about the Feds snooping on them 24/7 for no reason at all.

I think they're trying to create the illusion they "saved us all from a fiery death" and the credit should go to "the glorious and ingenious NSA monitoring system."
The bigger they make this illusionary terrorist threat sound, the more believable their scam will be.

Never listen to what the politicians say. They lie for a living. Watch what they do. No extra protections at the borders, no additional scrutiny of incoming from rouge nations, no tracking down of visa overstays. They're not DOING anything but closing a few doors and talking allot.
If the threat is real, "the worlds biggest terrorist threat ever and only oboma and the NSA can save us" will just wait another week, right? I don't think they'd have a problem waiting a few more days to destroy life as we know it. They've been at this since the days of Abraham!

Obama routinely carries out many drone strikes---most of which we never hear about because they are unreported. They usually don't want the publicity of the body count incurred as a result of hitting (or missing) their intended target.

Four drone strikes in Yemen in the past 10 days.

"None of those killed on Tuesday were among the 25 names on the country's most-wanted list, security officials said."

I am assuming 2 terrorists they are trying to eliminate are Nasir al-Wuhayshi and Al Asiri, the bombmaker who tried the explode an American commercial plane last year with a surgically-implanted, caulk-encased, non-metallic explosive device

From the article

"U.S. officials intercepted a message from al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri to operatives in Yemen telling them to "do something." The message was sent to Nasir al-Wuhayshi, the leader of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the terror group's Yemeni affiliate. U.S. intelligence believes al-Wuhayshi has recently been appointed the overall terror organization's No. 2 leader."

The threats are real, but the manner in which the Obama Adm has been leaking this threat story for the last week and the level of details being exposed are highly suspicious and endangers our troops, operatives, informants, and civilians.

Obama, et al, can always be depended on to turn any event or threat into a political advantage when the publicity suits him---"collateral damage" be damned.

Deception is the hand most likely being played. By which side is the question, and for what strategic and/or political purpose?
Reminder - we're still sending billions in U.S. aid to these people. A Middle Eastern attack which may soon occur may have been orchestrated and equipped by U.S. operatives, ala a “Fast and Furious” type of operation (Bengazi).

Ure was discussing this one yesterday.

LJ: meant to ping you to post 30.

This thread just posted from an article in a Yemeni paper:

The first steps towards criminalizing drone strikes, Obama take note

"Obama has argued that he is acting to safeguard America’s national security interests. Yet the truth of the matter is that drones are counter-productive. According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, since its start, the U.S. drones campaign in Yemen has killed a significant number of civilians including children and women. And with every death, the ranks of Al-Qaeda swell. "

Yep.

Never listen to what the politicians say. They lie for a living. Watch what they DO, and you'll SEE the truth. (By their fruits ye will know them)

Yemen may be one of the most dangerous Islamo countries in the world for Americans, Brits and on some days for al Queda serial killers.

A reminder, the USS Cole was severely damaged in Yemen when it pulled into port to refuel with fuel from Al Gore’s oil company. That terrible incident was probably another wag the dog event planned by the Clintoons.

Nelson DeMille has an excellent novel, The Panther, supposedly taking place in Yemen, and his hero John Corey is there to kill the Panther and bad guys on our side if he has to:

Terror Threat Intelligence Not New-Agencies knew of threat to embassies, officials for months

Post 11: They knew about impending attacks well in advance last year too...

Breaking, Cover-Up?: Libyan President Indicates U.S. Knew Date And Time Of Embassy Attack In Advance… September 16, 2012

…and he cites intercepted communications to prove it. Keep in mind also that if this is true, then Obama’s main surrogate for the matter on the Sunday talk shows, UN Ambassador Susan Rice (who said on these shows that the whole thing was NOT a pre-planned Al Qaeda operation but merely a movie protest spun out of control), spent the entire day today either lying through her teeth as it is simply impossible to believe that she went on these shows with no approval of her talking points by the White House, or the White House, hoping they could ultimately hide the truth from everybody, including her, lied to her and said they had no evidence indicating Al Qaeda when in fact they had these intercepted communications…

Source and Source

All they need to do is use “chatter” to cause the Superpowers to run and hide. It reminds me of Douglas Adam’s story where it is explained the most intelligent life on earth is first the mice and secondly the dolphins.

The mice were actually beings who were doing controlled experiments on earthlings by changing the outcome of behavioral testing on mice.

The University of Kentucky is closing because of a danger in Yemen? You can’t be too careful, I guess.
