The Army psychiatrist behind the shooting rampage at Fort Hood nearly four years ago called himself a "mujahideen" in a short and unrepentant opening statement at his military trial, which will likely feature the bizarre spectacle of him questioning his own victims.

If I was in al Queda watching all these events unfold, I’d be laughing and planning massive attacks too.

How come I know “mujahideen” is an Arabic plural, and he doesn’t?

“mujahideen” is the plural form. “Mu-” prefix is like the “-er” suffix in English-—it converts the verb into the noun, like teach becomes teacher, work becomes worker.

J’h’d’ is the root of ‘holy war’, or to wage war. Placing the “mu-” prefix on it makes it “holy warrior”. Mujahad. The “-een” is the plural form. Dummy is saying he is a “holy warriors”, apparently.

If this guy has renounced his citizenship and his army rank, why are we still paying him?

Who knows, PC maybe? If he was not a Muslim, I wonder if it would be different?

Funny...I got that too.
It is sort of like the “im” plural form in Hebrew.

I wonder if Mr. Hasan actually got it wrong, or if the writer “corrected” it for him.

probably hasan’s blunder.

It is my opinion that the “Sudden Jihad Syndrome” people are not that way because of years of study of Arabic culture, language, or religion. I believe they just get a big bolus dosage of hate-filled jihadist propaganda somewhere and the idiot powers-that-be think that it is politically correct to tolerate them.

He actually Presented his crazy views to his colleagues in the army and they did nothing about it.

What does this murdering Islamic pig think he has to gain with his in-your-face attitude in the courtroom?

Of course Hasan never expected to survive when he opened fire but thought he would be sent to muzzie paradise right there & then.

He figures now he has nothing to lose.

“He should have been shot by a firing squad years ago. Instead we will spend millions on this circus trial and years of appeals.

The land I inherited from my parents still has the "Hanging Tree" that is a few feet north of TX 21. It was used into the early 1900s to hang cattle thieves and robbers. The trunk is about six feet in diameter now. I'll loan that tree to the feds for a few minutes free of charge.

I think the writer got the title wrong. Here’s what Hasan said:

“We, the mujahedeen, are imperfect Muslims trying to establish the perfect religion in the land of the supreme god.”

They knew about him and did nothing about it. In my opinion, the government is a participant in his murders.

“Statements of counsel are not evidence”, per the Manual for Courts Martial and every jurisdiction. Here, he’s 1)acting as his own counsel, and 2) not under oath. I have no doubt that, should he choose to testify, he will gladly admit to each and every element of each and every crime. That should make it pretty much a slam dunk for the court members to find him guilty of all charges and specifications.

Okay this is so simple it hurts. He claims he was muhjahadeen when he started shooting. He was wearing the uniform of the Army of the U.S. He therefore admits to being an enemy combatant in American uniform. Hey I think a few of Otto Skorzeny’s commandos experienced the legal sanctions for wearing the uniform to deceive. I’ve even seen film of them going up against the wall. Seems open and shut. Death by musketry.

There goes the workplace violence meme of the most transparent administration evah...

And, in the end, the Obama administration is turning out to be the most transparent administration evah, isn’t it just?

The most transparent dishonest administration...why would anyone believe a single word they say? Why would Congress do business with such a loathsome executive branch?

This piece of $h!t gets to spread his propaganda to the whole world.

Meanwhile the man accused of making a video falsly blamed for the murders at Benghazi is still in jail.

Meanwhile the perpetrators of “fast and furious” are not in jail.

Meanwhile the men who intimidated voters at a polling place are not in jail.

Meanwhile the criminals who used the irs for political purposes are not in jail.
