Breitbart News ^ | 6 Aug 2013

Posted on 08/07/2013 7:40:59 PM PDT by george76

the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene headquarters, which cost taxpayers $316 million, is overrun by bed bugs. The building is 21 floors, and five of those are home to a bed bug infestation. That’s no shock, since the city itself has been ranked the worst in the nation when it comes to bed bugs.

This is the second time in under a year that bed bugs have been found in the facility, which is only three years old. Critics say that the city is actually underreporting the problem

...

Other major New York landmarks have become bed bug victims, including the Lincoln Center, the New York Public Library, the Waldorf Astoria, and the United Nations. Moskovitz urges New York visitors to check the bedding for bugs, spotting and streaks of blood.

Excuse me, but Cincinnati, Ohio is the bed bug capital of the country.

United Nations bugged - with bedbugs
You can now add the United Nations to the list of stores, theaters and landmarks as locations where bedbugs have been detected in New York City.

maybe Bloomturd can ban places with more than 16 oz of blood sucking parasites.

Cincinnati no longer the nation’s bedbug capital

This is one list where Cincinnati should be glad to give up its top spot.

Cincinnati is no longer the bedbug capital of the U.S., according to a news release from Rollins Inc., a company that operates eight pest control brands including Orkin. That title now belongs to Chicago, which moved up to No. 1 from its No. 2 ranking a year ago.

I guess that's better than bringing cholera to Haiti.

Bedbugs are part of our cultural exchange program with illegals, some of whom probably helped construct the building, and lived there while it was going up.

More of the fruits of poor third world nation immigrants, bed bugs.

They will create many long term good paying jobs for exterminators as those bugs are hard to get rid of.

Just like we were promised.

Just remember to keep it environmentally friendly. Don't hurt the 'good bugs'

Too funny.

I hope a few of these bugs find their way to Gracie Mansion before Bloomberg leaves office.
