Graffiti for Trayvon Martin case suspected in Seattle arson

A Seattle restaurant was burned by an arsonist – and that suspect was a hooded man who left graffiti believed to reference to the Trayvon Martin case.

The fire was started about 2:15 a.m. at the corner of 23rd Avenue and East Union Street in Seattle's Central District. The first arriving engine company found flames coming from the back of the Med Mix restaurant near a storage area, and light smoke was found inside the restaurant.

On the building the arsonist used red spray paint to write, "4 Pratt and Trayv."

The owner believes that message refers to Trayvon Martin, the Florida teen killed by George Zimmerman, and Seattle civil rights leader Edwin Pratt, who was shot to death in 1969. Pratt's case is technically unsolved, though deputies believe he was killed by hitman Tommy Kirk, who was killed in a dispute later that year.

The arson caused $90,000 damage to the Med Mix Restaurant. Owner Ottmane Bezzaz said he has "no clue" as to who would do such a thing, or why he might be targeted.

Surveillance video showed a masked hooded figure who walked up with a shopping bag. He took out a paint can and sprayed the message on the building next to the restaurant. Then he poured gasoline over a fence into the Med Mix's storage area.

After using a match to light the building, the young man seen in the video runs away. Click above to watch surveillance footage of the arson, obtained only by KIRO 7.

"I don't know what message he wanted to send," Bezzaz told KIRO 7. The restaurant owner said detectives immediately recognized that these were probably references to Trayvon Martin and Edwin Pratt.

"I don't see the connection," Bezzaz said.

The owner told KIRO 7 he doesn't know what the connection is between the graffiti and his restaurant, but said he plans to rebuild.

The Seattle Police Department Arson Bomb Squad is investigating. No one was inside the restaurant at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported

The truth of the Zimmerman trial.. It’s the second time the President of the United States has interjected himself into a confrontation between those in authority on legal grounds reasonably questioned and released someone involved in a curious activity in a patrolled area. In both cases those representing “authority” were reported as “white” . In the second case the person working security was attacked while on private rights of way while on foot who discontinued an observation and was returing to his vehicle after being suggested by the police to do so. Legally he could have approached Saint Trayvon but didn’t..The hooded tall figure was allowed to continue on his way unimpeded. But didn’t. That figure turned out to be a Martin Trayvon who doubled back and attacked the “neighborhood watch” worker as he was returing to his vehicle. Knocked him to the ground and began beating him severly. Saint Trayvon, the attacker, was subsequently killed in a struggle over the Neighborhood Watchman’s legal pistol.

In the second case both were dark skined.

The facts of this case are still being shamefully being concealed by the media to the extent they are advancing and are complicit in permitting a putrid injstice of the worst order,organized and instituted by our governent, to be committed . As a result racial strife by design increased.

What better way to cover up Bengahzi, Fast and furious, IRS, Wind and Solar panel gate, NSA spying on US, Over-riding the constittution? Don’t look into who accompaines Obama on his many trips around the world at taxpayer expence ? Were they the heavy hitters or their friends holding the president’s hand ? Never looked into either by the House and certainly not even speculated about or reported on by the media. Seems like that could be considered pay back at US taxpayer expence. Now if somebody even suggests impeachment.. Pick on some security guard accuse him of being racist ,even though he is part black, but his last name sounds “jewish.”Who’s doing surveilance in an mixed race area of modest means a where there’s been robberies and burgalries by young blacks.

Now call that surveilance stalking, the area he’s patrolling owned by rich whities,and the guard of course white . Make that person he’s watching a 10 year old black kid and a saint ,not six foot two 165 pound 16 year old, who gets killed fighting over a gun. .
