The father of one of three Florida teens charged in a vicious school bus attack said his son is sorry for taking part in the July beating that made national headlines.
As the trio headed to court on Tuesday, Julian McKnight said his son Julian, 15, has also suffered in the aftermath of the July 9 attack on a Pinellas County school bus after it left Lealman Intermediate School in the St. Petersburg-area community of Gulfport.
All I can say is hes had his consequences already, you know? McKnight said. Were sorry what happened to the victim, but thats just the way it is. My son aint never been no bad person, he just got mixed [up] with bad people, thats all
Hes sorry.

Blame it on someone else...like Obama.
They going to hang a mural at the state capitol commemorating the event?
Now just imagine if zimmermans parents had replied this way........

“My son aint never been no bad person”
He ain’t never been to prison for murdering nobody.
I is what I is!
Don't jump to conclusions. Maury hasn't run the test yet.
I have serious misgivings about arming 13 year olds.
As do I, of course - particularly when the weapons could be taken from them, as undoubtedly would have happened in this case.
The real point was that the kids/thugs doing this were citing Trayvon as an excuse... but against a helpless, defenseless victim as opposed to the victim of Martin's attack. It was was a classic bully attack - except there were three bullies.
Bull shitte. He is sorry he got caught.
What kind of apology is that?!
Imagine a white kid beating up a black kid and then the white kid's dad having that kind of cavalier attitude.
Hello, this has been on my mind since the incident first happened. Has any one heard of any collection or something that is being taken up for the victim? I sure don’t want him to think that when you do what is right that your get the heck beat out of you and that is it, I want him to be rewarded for doing right, even when it was risky, what a young man.
I would be willing to donate to him, maybe take a small vacation or college fund, what ever. Please let me know. Thanks
That's it? Where is the punishment?
Honestly, there were a lot of racist posts on this thread.
I would tend to agree.
Growing up, my second home (summers) was Ferndina. Are you from there? Send a freepmail.
Honestly, please point out those racist posts.
I find it is White Americans who are victimized by modern racism...is that what you mean?

Bravo!!!
post #12 "My son aint never been no bad person" He just HATES white people. so give him a pass! Did race have anything to do with the beating? Wouldn't they have beaten a black kid, too?
post #14 Rachel says azzwhuppins aint no big deal! and post #18 Ask miss etiquette. She has NOTHING to do with this
post #16 Hes only sorry that he wasnt able to steal the whiteys wallet. your assumption that he wouldn't do this to a black kid (heard of black on black crime?)
post #37 Relative to all the other kids in this neighborhood, this kid is probably about average in terms of his behavior. They're all thugs. What do you know about this kids neighborhood?
