Bush rodeo clown allowed in ’94, Obama clown banned forever
BizPac Review ^ | 8/13/13 | Tom Tillison

While there is no written law, we may have finally reached a place in America where it’s forbidden to publicly mock the president of the United States — assuming the president is an African-American and a member of the Democratic Party.

The outcry over a rodeo clown donning a mask resembling President Obama reached a new level of absurdity when it was reported Monday that the man behind the mask has been permanently banned from performing at the fair ever again, as reported by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Missouri State Fair officials barred the rodeo clown from ever performing at the fair again and are requiring that “all officials and subcontractors associated with the association must participate in “sensitivity training,” the Post-Dispatch noted.

Did you ever see so many officials at the Rodeo crap in their pants so fast?

They all soiled themselves at one time.

A show of cowardice not seen anywhere else in the free world.

Not a brave soul in the bunch. I cannot say much for Missouri manhood if this is their example.

It used to be burning the image of a hated tyrant in effigy was the thing to do. Today, anyone burning an image of Soetoro would be foreced to change positions with the dummy and self immolate. We have come a long way baby.

The House has many examples of impeachment material now. Pass an impeachment bill, send it over to the Senate attached to the budget and let them debate it over the next 2 years, enough time to run out the clock on any farther dictates by his lowness. Also dispatch a herd of lawyers over the SC and every time he puts forth an EO, find some basis to file a suit.

“Bush rodeo clown allowed in ’94, Obama clown banned forever”.

There is need for a correction in that headline. It should read more like “........Clown Obama needs to be banner forever”.

If it were me, I would get a whole bunch of people and protest at the fair grounds. Better yet, boycott the fair. Hit them where it hurts, in the pocket book. I definitely would NOT attend their rodeo.

Eddie Vedder used to put on a Bush mask during his concerts and run around the stage. Why isn’t Vedder currently undergoing sensitivity training and banned from all future concerts and recordings?

One thing liberals do far better than conservatives is putting a face on an issue or "personalizing" an issue. I would think most of us here are upset with the "fair Officials" who did this but they remain unnamed. A nonpartisan press would find them and do their best to get quotes on the record about their decision.

The Missouri State Fair Commission was established by the Missouri Legislature effective September 1, 1995 through Missouri Revised Statutes (Chapter 262, Section 26.217). In other words this commission is appointed by the governor.

The commission is made up of "nine" members.

Ms. Janet M. Crafton
City: St. James
Slot: At-Large Member #3
Term: June 19, 2012 – Dec. 29, 2015
Party: Democrat

Jon Hagler
City: Jefferson City
Slot: Director of Missouri Dept. of Agriculture
Term: Jan. 2009 -
Party: Unknown but presumed to be Liberal

Mrs. Barbara Hayden
City: Sedalia
Slot: At-Large Member #1
Term: Jan. 20, 2005 – Dec. 29, 2009
Party: Republican

Mrs. Sherry Jones
City: Dawn
Slot: At-Large Member #2
Term: Jan. 3, 2012 – Dec. 29, 2014
Party: Republican

Dr. Jack Magruder, Chairman
City: Kirksville
Slot: Active Farmer #1
Term: Jul. 29, 2010 – Dec. 29, 2012
Party: Democrat

Mr. Lowell Mohler, Vice Chairman
City: Jefferson City
Slot: Agribusiness Employee
Term: Jan. 21, 2010 – Dec. 29, 2013
Party: Republican

Mr. Kevin Roberts
City: Hillsboro
Slot: County Fair Board Member or Past President #2
Term: Jan. 3, 2012 – Dec. 29, 2014
Party: Democrat

Mr. Ted E. Sheppard
City: Cabool
Slot: County Fair Board Member or Past President #1
Term: Jul. 29, 2010 – Dec. 29, 2012
Party: Republican

Vacant Slot Active Farmer 2

The Missouri State Fair Commission (above) unanimously
approved the motion to ban this rodeo clown for life at its
regular morning scheduling meeting. 8/12/13
