Sky News cameraman Mick Deane has been shot and killed in Egypt this morning. Mick had worked for Sky for 15 years, based in Washington and then Jerusalem. He was part of our team covering the violence in Cairo. The rest of the team are unhurt.
(Excerpt) Read more at news.sky.com ...
POTUS Obama and his beloved Muslim terrorist, Morsi and Muslim Brotherhood at work!!!
How can that be ???
he was amongst the gentle little religion of peace folks..
Good thing he wasnt somewhere dangerous like downtown Maybery, NC..
Who shot him, and what was he doing at the time?
Ahhh the signs of “Arab Spring”, another journalist pushing up daisies.
I don´t know why they keep saying SKYNEWS. It is like AlJazeera in Europe.
I remember watching a program once on SKY and the news reader, Tim Marshall, kept saying Piss or (Peace ) be upon Him each time he said the words...mohamed the pro.
Skynews is sponsored by Qatar....that gives a taste of their slant on the news.
They are siding with the muslim brotherhood on Sky.
Poor journalists, they think that they are immune from the ROP just because of who they are...
He had a dangerous job...
May God have mercy on his soul.
The problem with cameramen/reporters/”journalists” is they have this odd belief that both sides agree not to shoot at them, because they are covering history.
the news coming out is not going to be favorable to the agenda of the one... so journalists must be protected and only the right news released from the region.
Why am I recalling an event from a couple years back where some “reporters” were in Israel and because there weren’t any kind of muzzy riots going on yet... they decided to create one.
So the “reporters” started throwing rocks, the kids nearby joined in, then the “reporters” began snapping pictures and video...
I thought Sky was owned by Rupert Murdoch, who owns Fox. Sky shows all the Fox TV shows, and Sky News shares stories with Fox News....
It seems Rupert has sold his soul to Qatar.
I’m waiting for the rest of the world’s journalists to condemn violence by bearded savages against normal people.
When they do a story about the Christians being slaughtered by the Brotherhood in Egypt I’ll do a boo-hoo for their cameraman. Until then...
So ? does the term “ Islam is the religion of Peace “ really mean ? rest in peace ? as in 6 feet under ?
Sky News is owned by Rupert Murdoch, hardly a leftist.
As to your assertion Tim Marshall (who is their ME expert not a newsreader) says Peace be upon him, you are talking complete crap. I have watched Sky News for 24 yrs (1989-2013) and watched Marshall for many years and he has NEVER uttered those words. You are a liar.
Yes it is, the poster is talking complete crap. Sky is a million miles from pro-Muslimism, and his claim about Marshall is utter crap.
Tim Marshall is no expert on the M:E. If he were he would call the Muslim Brotherhood for what they are TERRORISTS.Tim Marshall love to lecture not explain news.
You have been watching Skynews with your ears closed.
I can assure you I am not a liar....He did say Peace be upon him when talking about mo the pedo.
Which company sponsors the weather on Sky....It is qatar. What does Qatar support ? Islamist terrorism.
Marshall is Sky’s foreign affairs expert, and bloody good he is too. Far superior to the BBC’s.
He has never said what you have claimed. I have been watching him since he started on Sky News. For a start, you ARE NOT ALLOWED under British broadcasting law to say any such thing. Either Peace Be Upon You, Let Us All Praise God (or Jesus), or even a Hail Satan.
Marshall cannot say and has never said such words. You ARE a liar.
Oh, and its Qatar AIRLINES that sponsors Sky News Weather. Not the country or Qatari govt.
You are an ignorant fool.
Qatar is an ally of the West.
Qatar is home to YOUR nation’s now the location of U.S. Central Commands Forward Headquarters AND the U.S Combined Air Operations Centre!. AND one of the jumping off points for American troops into Iraq in 2003.....
>You are the ignorant one.
First I am not American.
Second, Qatar is supporting the M:B and AL QAEDA.
Maybe you shouls stop listening to Tim Marshall and really be aware of what is happening in the M.E.
It seems you think islam is a religion of peace and tolerance....wake up.
I gather if you live in Scotland you have a narrow view of the world.
Having lived 3 years in Aberdeen I would say, Scottish people are not the most enlightened when it comes to world news.
Scottish people are still moaning about the war against the English 400 years after the event.
I am not American nor English...I am an European aware of the world TODAY.
I am tellling you you hero Tim said peace be upon him when talking about mo the pedo.
It was embarrassing.
Qatar is own by the Qatari government. You are the ignorant one.Do your research before posting.
It is the national airline, not a private airline like say Ryanair.
If your expert TIM is so good why does he keeps refering to GILO in Israel as an area in East Jerusalem when GILO is in fact situated in the South west of the city...His paymaster tell him to say it is in East Jerusalem so the moron says it is...if he were a good journalist and expert he would correct the mistake would he not ?
Would not an expert of the M.E know the difference between East and South in such an important part of the M:E ?
Nope, I don’t think Islam is peaceful. We agree extremism needs to be fought. That’s totally different from a discussion about what a man said on TV.
Actually, Scots are well known for their enlightened outlook, from men like David Hume and Adam Smith to the Scottish Enlightenment. And Scots today are less parochial than the English. More open to Europe and the world.
But hey thanks for insulting us.
No he didn’t. Move on.
Mo was a pedo though, we agree on that. 9 year olds, good grief.
Qatar airlines is a national airline. So what, as I have said, Qatar is home to TWO US military commands and the country is an ally of the US and the UK.
BTW, that ‘pro-muzzie’ Sky News is in fact a right-leaning station. Its owned by that well known leftie Rupert Murdoch and its sister station is Fox News.
RIP, Mick Deane.
You should understand that your stated position is not a ringing endorsement of Scotland on this forum.
The English stand vis a vie the EU is very well admired here. And Scotland does seem to be farther in the Socialist political camp...
Point taken, although I meant culturally rather than politically. I am a staunch Eurosceptic myself.
