The House does have the power of the purse (they are the only constitutionally authorized originating entity for spending bills, and it should rightly defund anything and everything with respect to Obamacare.
The only thing I worry about appropriations-wise, if a budget bill is passed, it will have to go through a House-Senate Conference which reconciles Senate appropriations with the controlling House bill and then a final House vote on whether to accept or reject the report.
This is where I feel we will get shived in the back by our own RINO House conferees, and the level of what they finally agree on will be buried in gobbley gook wording buried in the conferee report. Most House members will never read the conferee report and cross reference back to both bills.

They will pretend none of this ever happened and so will many on the right because every election we repeat the game of them pretending to be right of center and we make excuses because ‘the Dems are worse’.
Jim and everyone, until they are removed from power this will not change. And they will never be removed as long as people on the right make excuses for why we have to compromise our principles.

No one wants to admit that but the logical truth is that as long as the people empowered to govern have no fear of blowback, they will move ever leftward. And here's my suggestion: allow health insurance companies to offer policies across state lines on a regional basis. That way, there will be vastly more choice for health insurance plans, and with a lot more competition, that means lower prices overall.

We shouldn’t assume that our so called allies in the gop actually want to defund owebamacare. The sad truth is the gop wing of the uniparty wants owebamacare to go into effect just as much as the ‘rat wing does. Why:
- To get access to the immense amount of personal data that owebamacare requires. Information is power. The gop wing on the uniparty is just as keen about increasing it’s power over the average person as the ‘rat wing is.
- To shift health costs from their corporate cronies to the taxpayer. This is a big one. Major employers are salivating over the thought of getting rid of their healthcare costs. When owebamacare becomes single payer, as it must, it will be Mission Accomplished.
- To keep an issue on the front burner for propaganda purposes. If owebamacare is actually fixed by defunding it, the gop wing of the uniparty loses a bogey man to rally the serfs with.
That's a simple one, Jim. No, they won't.
Not a peep out of the vast majority of them, conservatives included, on the last minute cushy deal to exempt themselves from ObamaCare.
That says that they are ALREADY GOING ALONG with the implementation of ObamaCare.

We say YES, but sadly it will never get through the senate due to harry reid. Maybe if we can shed him & his influence on the Senate, we might be able to get something through. It is up to the people of Nevada to rid the US of this menace to our body politic!
