Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul says he and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will continue to disagree over national security and other issues, but the Republican Party is big enough to accommodate both men’s views.

Paul told “Fox News Sunday” that Republicans should concentrate growing the party instead of bickering. …

Paul is right, but he needs to clarify. Federal government should be small and should obey the constitution, but state governments can be larger. This is how our country was intended. There is a place for big government gonservatives, it is in the city, county, and state level. The libertarian wing is the federal level.

And therein lies the problem.

They say the GOP offered the “Big Tent,” but that was before CC’s tailors were involved ....

Christie and his ilk take up far too much room for me to fit, though.

There are plenty of freepers who would vote for him, so, yes there is room for him.

What views does Christie have that fit with the party? Seriously, can anyone think of one?

About the same amount as Romney.

The same crowd who voted for Mitts will be bleating for the next RINO nominee just because it is not Hitlery.

There really is not. Take note that Article IV of the US Constitution guarantees to each state of the union a republican form of government—not social-democratic, socialist, communist, fascist or any other abomination.

How bout neither. And R. Paul’s kissing the massive butt of Christie is hideious.

Paul is outing himself as a typical weasel lying slimy self serving dishonest politician. And siding with MB, that’s the cherry on the cake.

Rand Paul’s immigration speech
03.19.13 | Hon Sen Rand Paul (KY)

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

[but he’s not against amnesty, snicker, definition of is is ping]
