but we hope that standing together and giving businesses a tool to say no to guns will change the conversation around gun violence.Words don't stop thugs. Guns stop thugs. And most of the time you don't even have to point it at them, let alone fire it.

Maybe he should invite himself to use one of his gun free zone signs around the mayor’s office and city hall. I would suggest one around his home also.
Hate to see him a victim of gun violence.

We know this wont stop someone determined to cause violence..." Hmmmm. Let me think. What MIGHT there be that WOULD stop someone determined to cause violence?
I'm sure it'll come to me...

If I were a gunman and a crook, I know EXACTLY where I would go to pursue my “business”.
Democrats are so stupid. Too bad we can’t convince them its politically correct not to breathe. In a few minutes we could reduce the percentage of stupid genes in the national population.

I would put up the sign, then shoot the robbers saying, “I lied.”...............

PS: I would definitely try to avoid shopping in any stores with these silly "gun free zone" signs on them. These stores are the very first places any violent criminals will try to knock over, rob. Who wants to be caught in the middle of a store burglary, just to pick up a frozen pizza or package of gum?

Michael Medved, talk show host, who lives in Wash., talking about this right now - -
I’m hearing him on KRLA 870am radio, southern CA.

The only possible businesses that this might help are nightclubs, because who else is going to pat down every customer who comes in the door? Nightclubs typically attract punks anyway, so they’ll just settle matters with their fists, or go to the glove compartment of their cars for heat.

I think I love this idea. It should make it very easy to know what businesses not to support with my money.

If a person chooses to carry a “concealed” weapon, who is to know exactly who is carrying a gun and who is not?
(I always wonder about this as I walking into a business with a “No Guns Allowed” sign in the window....)

I know that fire will burn me, but lets have a conversation about that and then I’ll light myself on fire. Honestly, we need civilization to collapse a little bit so idiots like this will be weeded out.
The only conversation AROUND gun violence is usually, “Oh my God. He has a gun! And I don’t have one! Someone help me! Please don’t kill me!”
