“They quoted me 4 times as much as other companies did,”
_______________________________________________
I guess most all companies change. Back when I had them, they were quite competitive and courteous, despite a few claims from when others, girls borrowing my car, only to wreck it, or “Act of God” damages.
I now have had no need or desire for a car since I left the US.
Gevalia is Kraft Foods.
No, I don’t do business with any of the listed,
and I don’t support hollywood libs in any way.
I won’t even watch their movies on TV reruns.
A lot of us Conservatives feel the same way.
I think this article is missing its target by a bit,
it should be pointing a bit more to the center.
We use Allstate for all of our domestic needs (cars, home, boat, etc) mainly because we have a family member who runs an office (and they are 3rd generation), so we get good service.
Allstate does not do business insurances or bonds for contractors, so our business was handled through Farmers, believe it or not (and we were not farmers).
Our whole and term life insurance is Transamerica. Not much on service, sort of “get it and forget it”, which I kind of like because they don’t pester us with phone calls.
I’m sure all three of these companies probably has some liberal causes, just by the sheer size of them but I digress, I really have no idea.
Liberty Mutual.
I don’t really know anything about GEICO, their rates, service, etc.
But I’m wary of an insurance company that has to run commercials incessantly.
Can they not keep their customers? Turnover?
Gives me pause.
The last movie I went to was about William Wilberforce, but I can’t remember the name of it.
Pardon my French, but I keep seeing posts about Starbucks which ask, why pay four dollars for a cup of what is said to taste like burned s***?
Anyway, I thought Starbucks was CCW friendly, or is that just a local thing?
I simply switched to Dunkin Donuts. They have the best coffee on the planet, and it’s much cheaper.
Fortunately I’ve never been involved with any of those companies.
Never been to a Starbucks. Heard too many stories about burnt coffee. Why even bother? IMHO, Dunkin Donuts has pretty good coffee.
Some people say we should boycott GM, for many of the same reasons that Chrysler is on this list. I agree. However, full disclosure: I drive a GM pickup truck. But it is a 2004 model so GM made money on the truck long before their problems came to a head. Good truck.
Dad was stationed in Japan with the Army in the 1950s. We lived in Yokohama.
Advertising props up the entertainment industry. If the sponsors did not see a measurable return, they’d stop. The insidious aspect of this is advertisers are trying to inject themselves into our consciousness and habits. They use all kinds of tools and techniques to do so. The GEICO gecko vs Mayhem vs Flo....College kids today probably have some freaky Nightmares after a lifetime of television “programming”, and they reach for a friendly , ahem, face when making a decision. Enter the Hopey Changey ftard in the White House.
I cut up the little plastic ID card, too. Sometimes I add in a little extra chopped up newspaper to make a really fat return.
thanks, for the heads up..info.
Conservatives have been politically corrected by the Left for quite some time. The Left equated intolerance with hate, bigotry and racism. From our compassion comes our tolerance. And, it is through our compassion that our enemies will attack us. The illegal aliens take advantage of our compassion/tolerance. CAIR/Muslims takes advantage our compassion/tolerance. The MSM takes advantage of our compassion/tolerance.
Over the last several years I discovered I can’t enjoy a music group or movie when I know the people involved are flat out trying to strip me of everything American.
What I discovered is a lot of better music than I left behind and applied that free time saved from movies to learning.
Both are FAR more entertaining than what I abandoned. People should try it for a month.
They are also militantly ‘gay friendly’. Pick your poison.
Hehehe. How unimaginative of me. Now, I can't wait for their next mailing. Look for me, sitting in the corner, chopping and cutting, with an evil look on my face.
LOVE my USAA insurance.
I can’t make any recommendation based on cost, since I haven’t shopped around in years, but in terms of customer service, they are tops. I can’t say enough good things about how well USAA treats you. They are unfailingly polite - a pleasure to deal with.
