'Point 'em out, knock 'em out': Brutal game ends when assault victim fires his concealed handgun
Mlive ^ | 8-26-2013 | John Barnes

Posted on 08/26/2013 10:45:56 AM PDT by Darren McCarty

The game was called "point 'em out, knock 'em out," and it was as random as it was brutal.

The object: Target an innocent victim for no other reason than they are there, then sucker punch him or her.

But on this day in Lansing, there would be no punch. The teen-age attacker had a stun gun. He did not know his would-be victim was carrying a legally concealed pistol.

The teen lost the game

................

The 17-year-old in gym shorts approached his target. The 28-year-old Lansing man was waiting for his daughter at her school-bus stop at REO Road and Ballard Street.

....The teen had two friends nearby - dropped off by a third friend in a van after they scouted their target. They knew what Marvell Weaver was going to do. They had discussed it.

Weaver approached his victim from behind, a black KL-800 Type Stun Gun in his pocket. It is capable of generating 1.8 million volts.

He passed him and turned back, pressed the stun gun into the victim’s side. Again and again, and … nothing. It had fired earlier when testing it, he would later tell police.

“The button was like stuck down … or something. I don’t know what caused it not to work,” according to a transcript of Weaver’s statement.

‘Please don’t kill me’

The intended victim moved quickly, pulling his stainless steel .40-caliber Smith and Wesson. It had a full 10-bullet magazine, and was worth about $900 police estimated.

He shot Weaver in his buttocks as the teen turned to flee.

“It happened so fast I wasn’t sure. I just know something was shoved into my side. I wasn’t sure if it was a knife, if it was anything,” he told police.

Weaver ran, sat down across the street, his leg going numb, bleeding. Pleading.

So, what is his Twitter name, "No-Limit-Teen?"

Teen...it's the new "N" word.

funny thing is the info comes out. they know it will become known. they just think they’re somehow covering for the blacks by not printing it. ‘we didn’t report it, we’re not racist’. like reporting the perp’s race is racist somehow.

Still a .40 thru the butt is something he’ll remember. Too bad he’ll probably apply the lesson by making sure his stun gun works before he attacks people instead of turning away from immoral behavior.

The victim was lucky that the stun gun failed, otherwise there would be a different outcome to this story. We all need to be "Situationally Aware" of our surroundings (a Freeper-ism I have made my own) and be ever vigilant. I had someone try to sneak up on me in a gas station and was able to avoid an confrontation because I saw him coming. It is to the point that we can't ever let our guard down, otherwise we will be dead...

Oh, and the shooter in this story needs to raise his sights a bit higher. The consequences has to be one that will deter others from this sort of activity, and death is a pretty good deterrent. It also ensures that these thugs won't get out of jail in 2 years, wiser and deadlier..

Don’t forget the .40 caliber circumcision, to prevent procreation of this piece of offal. Unfortunately, he’s probably already littered the landscape with his get on stupid saliva drooling clones of Rachel Jeantel.

White are often targeted, but in that part of SW Lansing, I bet the victim was probably black or Mexican, although he could be white.

If an apology is not a legally admissable confession, it certianly is evidence of guilt. I bet Trayvon Martin wishes he could have writen George Zimmerman an apology letter.

Too bad the kid didn’t win a Darwin Award. His DNA is still around to pollute the gene pool.

The value of the all the other assaults that were prevented because of the this example, is invaluable. Once in a while to need a Trayvon or a Marvell pour encourage les autres.

From the local paper:

http://www.yakimaherald.com/community/lowervalley/wapatocontent/1432836-8/authorities-burglary-suspect-shot-by-resident-is-paralyzed

“Authorities say a 16-year-old from Toppenish who was shot while allegedly assaulting residents while burglarizing their home is paralyzed, and it remains unclear if prosecutors will pursue charges as a result...”

And even better later in the same article: “He said he did not know the status of the referral, but anticipated prosecutors may not pursue charges in the near future due to concerns over medical expenses the county would have to pay if it jails the teenager...”

What does the price of the firearm have to do with anything?

Just wondering ...

Did anyone else notice this event ACTUALLY OCCURRED IN MAY, and is only now being reported?

“It was May 29, and a nice day.”

Perhaps it was ‘held’ so as not to influence public opinion during a certain trial that was in session?

There are no pics to confirm, but reporting on the price of the gun means the author thinks this is social injustice, that the Black perp could only afford a broken Tazer.

Where are you getting .40 S and W for 50 cents a round? More like a dollar a round here.
