We've extensively documented that radioactivity from Fukushima is spreading to North America.
More than a year ago, 15 out of 15 bluefin tuna tested in California waters were contaminated with radioactive cesium from Fukushima.
Bluefin tuna are a wide-ranging fish, which can swim back and forth between Japan and North America in a year:

The Globe and Mail, Aug 13, 2013 (Emphasis Added): Independent fisheries scientist Alexandra Morton is raising concerns about a disease she says is spreading through Pacific herring causing fish to hemorrhage. [...] Two days ago I did a beach seine on Malcolm Island [near Port McNeill on northern Vancouver Island] and I got approximately 100 of these little herring and they were not only bleeding from their fins, but their bellies, their chins, their eyeballs. [...] It was 100 per cent
I couldnt find any that werent bleeding to some degree. And they were schooling with young sockeye [salmon]

If fisheries stocks were contaminated with radiation from Fukishima would we ever hear about it from a government agency?

What have you heard form our government? Zilch... Certainly nothing that shines a light on safety concerns, for fear of embarrassment. Reminds you of the old Soviet Union, Communist China, or North Korea. The MSM, in this country, will not publish anything for fear of dear leader.
All we hear from our government is how poorly we're treating African-Americans, the danger of limited government, how everything is fine with the economy, and that we need to invade the ME...

There are 15 bluefin tuna still left in the wild?
That's an amazing fact to me.

Gosh, maybe my neighbor’s lutefisk will taste better this year!

Standard eco-scare tactic reporting. Radiation doesn't cause fish to bleed. And the article gives NOT ONE SINGLE MEASURED DATUM as to what the actual radiation levels found in the fish were.
Words strung together with zero real meaning.

I dunno.
My moobs have almost disappeared.

I think that if the news were to frighten people about radioactivity and make nuke plants less popular, our leaders would tell us tout suite. That would ensure a stedy flow of money to the overseas oil producers.

My attractive young female doctor is always gland-handling me.
And I really love tuna. My goodness, I’m worried!
Should I ask her to turn out the lights and do a ‘nad-glow’ exam?

Radiation doesn't cause fish to bleed. Full scale studies need doing. Who knows what happens to young fish that swim through pockets of higher radiation. While it wouldn't pose that grave of a danger to us, it could decimate fishing stocks. Not saying it is, or that the radiation is what's causing the historical lows in fish populations in the northern pacific, just saying it needs some serious looking into.

That, and if you are brutal enough with the net, you can damage every fish in it enough to bleed.

LOL. I saw a show that highlighted lutefisk, the process of what it takes to create the hideous mass of repellent seafood.
Wikipedia
Lutefisk (Norwegian) or Lutfisk (Swedish) or Ludfisk (Danish) (pronounced [lʉːtfesk] in Northern Norway, [lʉːtəfɪsk] in Central and Southern Norway, [lʉːtfɪsk] in Sweden, in Denmark [luð̞ˠfesk] and in Finland (Finnish: lipeäkala)) is a traditional dish of the Nordic countries. It is made from aged stockfish (air-dried whitefish) or dried/salted whitefish (klippfisk) and lye (lut). It is gelatinous in texture, and has an extremely strong, pungent odor. Its name literally means "lye fish."

That’s true and if you bring them up from a depth as well. Trusting those fishermen know the difference though. Sounds like something they’ve not seen to this extent. Could be biological or something secondary as result of the radiation. Some organisms proliferated in high radiation environments. Do a search for what they’ve found growing inside the Chernobyl esophagus. Then there’s the legend of Godzilla... ;)
