Former Illinois GOP Chair Pat Brady, who was pushed out by party conservatives because of his vocal support for same-sex marriage, is writing his next chapter by tackling the same issue.
Starting in November, Brady plans to begin lobbying Republican state lawmakers on passing same-sex marriage on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU has tapped Brady and his consulting firm, Next Generation Public Affairs, to help push the legislation through the Illinois House.
Illinois is one of the top-priority states, urgency-wise. Im working for them at their direction, Brady told the Chicago Sun-Times on Tuesday. Im concentrating on Republicans and like-minded people. Im excited to work with this group. Its a great organization. I think its going to get done this time. Im really excited about it.

I seem to recall someone saying the GOP couldn’t be reformed without getting rid of everyone in it. That everyone there was fully mercenary.
I recall people pooh poohing that. And yet here’s the decond piece on infrastructure in a week to go over the fence on a core issue.
Hmmmm.....
“Second piece of that infrastructure”
OMG! He was an ex GOP chief. Now I have no choice but to accept homo marriage... /sarc
It appears that way...I’ll tell you what. I’d sooner see the GOPe Regime burn to the ground along with the rest of DC and its conspirator environs and dip down to devolution than to see this madness go on. I fully believe we, the collective we, won’t wake up until it is just that bad.
This is what is known as “outreach,” boys and girls.
Always remember that GOP chiefs are no different from RAT chiefs when you show them the money.
Is this pat?
Be aware, too, that Next Generation Public Affairs will hire a PR firm to generate pro-homosexual press releases that will be be fed to the left wing press. This PR propaganda will be rewritten by the press and presented as news stories.
Combiner leader thug gets his payoff.
1) He won't resign until there's a backroom deal in place to have another slimy combine thug to succeed him as GOP chairman.
2) If he resigns, he'll get another cushy political job lined up where can promote his liberal agenda.
It’s a great shame that I an unable to claim even a slight degree of surprise at this development.
