If only it were true. If it's only the dastardly Russian agent: Goldstein Snowden, that would mean that our omniscient statists really are the good guys afterall, right?...

...RIGHT???

"Disinformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategies for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion, and Promoting Terrorism"

How are the Russians attacking Religion? By supporting the Orthodox Church? By banning public displays of homosexuality and support for homosexuality?

How are the Russians promoting terrorism? By laying waste to the Chechnyans? By refusing to get caught up in the morass that is the Middle East?

King Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden

As close as I could get to the King of Snowden

In other words, the Russians were in on the deception all along.

Really?

Seems like there are a ton of conclusions/accusations with this article and not much proof.

Good questions!
Think globalists - what would be gained with this?

Beck did a program where he talked about all the scandals being tied together - but it did not include the NSA because it hadn’t happened yet (May 15).
The idea is the scandals will transform free speech - political speech.

I agree it seems to lack proof.
There are hypertext links in the article, but I couldn’t put them in the post.

I’ll watch the video. But a quick question, does GB think the scandals were deliberately “leaked”?

I don’t have a subscription, so can only watch Beck’s videos that are available, so I don’t know what he thinks.

However, if you think about how the IRS scandal was leaked....it was completely staged. Think about the other scandals and how they came to light.

I think they are not going to stop “targeting”. Notice the term they used for the IRS scandal? They have not stopped targeting either.

So what does it mean? I don’t know exactly, but think it is something that only globalists would do and it deserves some thought.

It means we do not have the manpower to persecute everyone, but we can intimidate everyone.

IRS does seem to be staged, not doubt about it. I’ve always thought so.

Since the F&F, AP, IRS, NSA scandals seemed to be of ever increasing “scandalousness” I’ve suspected that they were deliberate “leaks” to divert attention from Benghazi. They weren’t as blatant as the IRS announcement though, so it could be a combo of deliberate “leaks” and opportunistic exploitation.

Although listening to GB now, he’s making the case for deliberate “leaks”.

Such naiveté.

Some interesting reading about spy history, just to get a feel for how much real spying is done and at how high a level.

Don Maclean

If you follow enough links, you'll find US/UK/Russian intelligence... well... every intelligence service is intertwined with all the others in a dizzyingly interconnected world.

The world of espionage has been a forte of transnational bankers / traders for hundreds of years; they are the masters of that domain. Espionage is a key business to be in if you want to control the leaders of governments.

The leadership of the US intel has always been run by a very small group of people at the top who report to what we would think of as billionaire types / Wall Street types / etc.

They craft NIEs and "advise" the President so diplomatic, espionage and military operations can be put into action to further the ends of the true leadership.

No matter who is President, the people running our espionage operations are all selected by the "powers that be" from amongst family and only the most reliable and closest of their own associates, then provided to the President so he can "choose" them.

Obama is not running America. That really is "above his pay scale", which is undoubtedly why he said that.

Syria is the current target for "new world order" assimilation and, as usual, the American side of the financial establishment wants to put the US military machine to the task of installing a leadership of their own choosing, probably either of a US or European businessman who is one of their loyal minions.

I agree with the comment below the article on the original site, “Any government that claims that Prism and its other metadata gathering programs are essential to ensure national security but does not insist that border security is essential to ensure national security is just plain lying to its citizens.”

How are the Russians attacking Religion? By supporting the Orthodox Church?

The Russian government supports the Russian Orthodox Church which is run by the KGB, but Russia is very hostile to any other church, including other Orthodox churches.

How are the Russians promoting terrorism?

The Russians support many of America's terrorist enemies around the world including the Ayatollahs, Hezbollah, HAMAS, the PLO, the list goes on and on. The Tsarnaev brothers were probably Russian agents which would explain why the attacked the USA instead of attacking Russia, their supposed enemy.

To #8 re our guys didn’t do a good job of “vetting” Snowden.

Our guys have almost never done a good job of vetting Soviet spies, operatives and assets. Just look at Alger Hiss, Harry Dexter White, Frank Coe, and Klaus Fuchs, among other communist moles.

Will add in Phil Agee, Hansen, the Walker Family, etc.

But then, again, nobody vetted, weren’t allowed to vet, or were ignored about the communist affiliations of Bill and Hillary Clinton, Clinton secret nominee for Secy of Education; Venceremos Brigade (i.e. Cuban DGI) operation leader Prof. Johnnetta Cole (Spelman Un, etc); Van Jones of STORM, a maoist revolutionary organization (he was picked by Valerie Jarrett, another person whose background contains some significant Communist Party USA links; Anita Dunn, the closet Maoist; one of Secy of Education Arne Duncan’s aides, a child sexual predator/NAMBLA supporter; and many more.

Congress is full of Communists, marxists and socialists, with only Sen. Bernie Sanders openly admitting that he is a “socialist”, but his DSA (Democratic Socialist of America) membership has been largely covered up until the just published book by Trevor Loudon, “The Enemies Within: Communsigts, Socialists and Progressives in the U.S. Congress”. Full of names, documents, links, photos, and the marxist histories of too many members of the House and Senate.

Older members of Congress whose red-linked backgrounds were completely covered up by the mainstream media include the present John Conyers, Sen. Alan Cranston (OWI, WW2); George McGovern (ties to Tito); Ted Kennedy (and his secret liaisons with Moscow; the 1930’s paid Soviet agent Rep. Emanuel Dickstein; Charles Porter; Hugh DeLacy, Leon Panetta’s very good friend, etc.

I suggest that you get Loudon’s new book, as well as the earlier book “Barack Obama and The Enemies Within”, 2011, which is a guide to the Obama-support networks on the far left, with names, charts, photos, documents, etc. that will blow your minds.

For information about obtaining these two books, you can buy them on Amazon.com, or thru www.PacificFreedomFoundation.org.

A few of us did exposures of the Left in our writings for Human Events Weekly (in the old days), in COMBAT, TOCSIN, The Pink Sheet on the Left/American Sentinel, the Betsy Osth newsletter, the Christian Anti-Communist Crusade newsletter, the publications of the Capital Research Center (with Matthew Vadum still doing great expose’ work on leftist organizations), the columns of WND’s Jerry Corsi, Aaron Klein, and, of course, the master of the charters and subversion webs, Glenn Beck.

But on the national writing scene, the Washington Post and New York Times (LA Times also), covered up the leftist identifications of so many communists and marxists that you could write a book just about that. You’d be surprised at how many red leftists had guest columns in these papers, esp. the NY Times and WaPo, without any true identification of who they were.

Might mention that a few WaPo female writers are/were married to veteran radical leftists including one Cambodian Holocaust denier, Bill Goodfellow.

Institute for Policy Studies writers penetration of the Wash. Post almost made them members of the staff (See S. Steven Powell’s “Covert Cadre” from 1987 as a start, and watch for a new book on IPS coming out this Fall.

Add into this the studies done by Cliff Kincaid and his groups Accuracy in Media and USAsurvival.org, Prof. Paul Kengor’s books “Dupes”, Horowitz and Collier “The Destructive Generation”, Horowitz and Poe on Soros, and the scholarly works on Soviet operations/operatives by the late Eric Breindel and Herb Romerstein, the living Harvey Khlers and John Haynes, and lastly, the masterly toms of M. Stanton Evans on Sen. Joe McCarthy (”Blacklisted by History” , (and joinly with Romerstein, “Stalin’s Secret Agents: The Subversion of Roosevelt’s Goverment” (now joined by Diane West’s book on the same subject), and you are now able to build a major library of books about communism in the US involving both foreign and domestic reds.

This is a lot of reading but I guarantee you that you will immediately see that the US Government (with the exception of the Hoover years), has done a stinking job of “vetting” reds of all kinds who have wormed their way into our government, with the Obama Administration being the worst security slacker in American history, followed by the Clinton-Gore and Carter-whoever administrations in close second.

If you wonder why we are losing our influence around the world, just look at who got appointed by Clinton/Obama from the Attorney General on down (Perez, Dunn, Panetta, Rice, Powers, Brennan, Clapper, Carol Browner/Lisa Jackson, etc).

Any real vetting of them would have kept them out of positions of influence and power (Brennan and Clapper being largely incompetent in recent years).

Now you know the rest of the story!

Russia-US is like a football rivalry set up by international banking.

I'd say the Russian puppet regime politicians are more likely simply being a bit opportunistic in their regular games against their old "rival" the US.

The Russian Orthodox Church is - literally - lead by a KGB agent. Sounds like crazy conspiracy theory but not if you think of all the history of Russia year by year since 1917. Not surprising at all then.

A few top Western "capitalists" have had - for the entire 20th century - very warm relationships with Russian leadership and have been the core of it's business backbone since the "revolution" allowed them to appropriate the Romanov's foreign accounts.
