Lesson 1 - Don't believe that FBY are all sleeping off their nightly binges at 6AM
Lesson 2 - BE AWARE OF YOUR ENVIRONMENT! There was no reason for the FBY to get the drop on the couple if they had been expecting trouble - which they should have been - it's friggen New Orleans!.
Lesson 3 - Don't go anywhere unarmed. This and Lesson 2 would have saved this couple.
Only way to begin to stiffle these type attacks:
Locate a suspected area for such attacks.
Secret a few officers with 12 gauges and ARs.
Have a decoy, elder looking white guy suitably armored, walk through the area.
When the ferel animals strike it is an attack to commit great bodily harm in progress upon a police office so open fire, empty the mags, reload and fire again making sure there are no survivors except the decoy.
Send in a PR group, take many photographs, as graphic as possible, put them on the evening news noting the police will continue the program.
That’s actually a very good idea. There’s a show on TV about the LAPD and how they plant cars for thieves. They follow them and arrest them.
The NYPD had a similar programs in the 60’s to abort liquor store holdups in selected areas on the city. It worked, at least by culling the herd, until one perp lived and went to court and told of what happened.
The police won’t do that but we could start seeing a few vigilante types that arm up and go for walks. Which I support.

I’ve never been to New Orleans and I’ll never go.
It is depressing that so soon after the cleansing Katrina enema, New Orleans has started to “back up” with low-life, chocolate citizens again.

If you’re gonna have to get out in public where you’ll come across Holders People, you are going to have to get a carry license and CARRY. Carry the worst, most destructive ammo you can put in it. Otherwise, you need to stay home.
