You can make it illegal, arrest its leaders, weaken it politically, but the sad fact is that political Islam cannot be eliminated as a social or political force in the Mideast. Western oriented secularists will always be under siege. There will be no peace. When they put Morsi on trial, he will finally be seen and heard. No doubt will remain defiant. Then the endless cycle of violence will reoccur. Best for the US to not be involved in that mess.
