SOUTH CAROLINA TEA PARTIERS DRAFT RESOLUTION TO REPLACE LINDSEY GRAHAM

SPARTENBURG -- South Carolina Tea Party groups have drafted a resolution containing a 29-point case to replace Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) with a Senator who is more conservative, Breitbart News has learned.

Local Tea Party leaders provided the document, a resolution that can be passed by local and state GOP committees, to Breitbart News. It argues that Graham’s activities in the U.S. Senate are a violation of the principles of the South Carolina Republican Party platform. Graham is up for reelection next year.

Items highlighted by Tea Partiers include: Graham’s support of providing weapons to “Al Quaeda / Muslim Brotherhood Revolutionaries in Syria,” how Graham “[s]upported amnesty but not border control,” how he supported “NSA spying on private American citizens,” “abridging the First Amendment for those who criticize the government,” “restrictions on the Second Amendment,” “Obama's drone program against American citizens,” “subordinating American sovereignty to the United Nations,” “giving foreign aid to terrorist governments in the Middle East,” “granting members of the Muslim Brotherhood high level positions in the US government,” “giving taxpayer money to international organizations,” “giving taxpayer money for excessive foreign aid generally, not just to terrorist governments in the Middle East,” “restricting the First Amendment rights to criticize Islamic radicalism,” “Obama's radical appointments to the Supreme Court,” “liberal proposal to nationalize banks,” “Obama's energy taxes and Cap and Trade,” “bailouts for financial institutions (TARP),” and “bailouts for independent mortgage institutions (Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac).”

Other points include how Graham opposed “principled application of free trade policies,” “making Bush tax cuts permanent,” “President Bush's conservative nominee from South Carolina to the Court of Appeals,” and “medical malpractice tort reform.” The Tea Partiers also rip Graham for siding “with Democrats on government regulation to combat ‘climate change,’” having “[p]raised Hillary Clinton’s prospects for higher office,” having “[f]ailed to...

“Has there been any polls in SC to determine Graham’s re-election chances?’

Last poll I saw had Graham down to 54% approval from 71%. He’s getting pounded with radio ads on his amnesty stand. The ads seem to be working.

This comes as welcome news, though I can’t help but keep thinking that Lindsey Graham is going to announce his retirement from the Senate by early next year. Even with all the financial resources available to him via the RNC, I don’t see how any amount of cash is going to help shield him from the left-wing votes he’s cast and be enough to win re-election among one of the most conservative electorates in the nation.

He’s not invited, I hope. And he was busy getting free NATIONAL airtime this afternoon.

(Is his re-election plan going to work after all?)

No mention of being funded by George Soros....and do not understand the Free Trade mention (Grahamnesty...like many RINOs and Dems....is a Free Trade supporter)...Other than that this is pretty thorough

Just hope we can keep Graham’s PhonyCon supporters at bay....and make it political hell for any GOP to support him

The only reason comprehensive immigration reform of the Schumer-Rubio-Graham type polls well in SC or any other state is because pollsters present a fantasy version of it to poll respondents, just like Graham and the media present a fantasy version of it to the public.

Do most South Carolinians know that Graham’s bill would massively increase legal immigration? I doubt it. And considering that nationwide polls show a vast majority of Americans opposed to increasing legal immigration, it’s a safe bet that probably an even larger majority of South Carolinians oppose it.

Are South Carolinians aware that the allegedly tough enforcement and punitive measures have no teeth, and that the Homeland Security secretary has vast discretion in applying enforcement?

Are South Carolinians aware that Graham’s bill would allow criminal illegal aliens to get on the path to citizenship?

I’m sure the answer to these questions is NO. Neither the Gang of Eight or the media have bothered informing the public about the huge increase in legal immigration that the bill would unleash, and they’ve either misled or outright lied about how tough the bill would be on illegal immigrants and how effective it would be in stopping future illegal immigration.

If the public were told the truth about the Gang of Eight’s monstrous bill, they’d be overwhelmingly opposed.

Hopefully Graham’s primary opponents will make Graham defend these indefensible aspects of the bill, and not simply get in a back and forth over the meaning of the word ‘amnesty.’

Also, Graham’s primary opponents should bring up Graham’s despicable display in front of La Raza a few years ago, when he said “we’re gonna tell the bigots to shut up.” Yes, that’s right, the allegedly conservative Senator Graham went before a far-left, pro-Democrat, professional ethnic grievance group, and basically called those who dare disagree with amnesty and mass immigration bigots.

It’s bad enough that Graham holds far-left, liberal views on immigration, but he also has to use vile, leftwing rhetoric in describing his opponents. This as much as anything else shows what a loathsome scumbag Graham is.

Hopefully his opponents will bring this us. They shouldn’t call him a scumbag like I do, but they should definitely point out the ease and comfort with which he goes before far left groups and uses demagogic left wing rhetoric.

The only thing worse than the food at the Beacon is apparently the coffee at Starbucks, I say apparently because I have never actually bought a cup at a Starbucks, I tried the sample they sent me in the mail and it was disgusting.

I tried a burger once at the Beacon along with my wife. We each took one bite, paused and took a second bite just to be sure we were not hallucinating, then we looked at each other and threw what was left in the trash and went somewhere else to eat. The food there was so bad I know someone who voted for Obama and he still has sense enough never to eat at the Beacon.

I went there once, in 1965. Never eaten there again. The Beacon is famous for many reasons. I just don’t know what they all are.
