'Catastrophic' John McCain: GOP's worst nightmare
WND ^ | 9/3/2013 | Pamela Geller

Posted on 09/03/2013 5:14:34 PM PDT by RoosterRedux

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said Monday, according to Bloomberg News, that “the U.S. must follow up with more assistance to Assad’s opponents to shift the balance of power in the conflict … dismissing concerns that some rebels have militant ties. ‘Those who say we don’t know who the opposition are, they are either not telling the truth and they know the truth or they are badly mistaken.’”

This is rich coming from a man who posed with known jihad kidnappers in Syria. Back in May, McCain went to Syria to meet with the opposition. While there, he posed for a now-notorious photo with two Sunni jihadists who were involved in kidnapping 11 Shiite pilgrims in 2012. This is what happens when clueless politicians inject themselves into situations in which they clearly do not belong. What was McCain thinking, sneaking into Syria to meet with jihadists?

Barack Obama is wrong and completely isolated on his Syria plan to back al-Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood opposition. But who do you think is coming to the rescue? RINOs. McCain and his sidekick, Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are now carrying water for Obama’s pro-jihadist intervention in Syria. Step ‘n Fetchit McCain and Graham were at the White House Monday getting their marching orders from the Dear Leader. There were no congressional Democrats at the White House.

McCain said Monday that blocking Obama’s Syria strike would be “catastrophic.” No, Sen. McCain. Obama’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt was “catastrophic,” and so is his backing of the Brotherhood and al-Qaida in Syria.

McCAIN: Shouting ‘Allahu Akhbar!’ Same as Christians Shouting ‘Thank God!’ This Drudge Headline shows how misguided this man is. Exactly where does he go to church. His pastor (and maybe that is the problem) needs to sit him and tell him the facts of life with regard to the difference between the two religions . .NOW. It seems like a demonic influence has entered some of these Republican leaders or perhaps they are being blackmailed. Something just doesn’t pass the smell test. When you look at the suffering of the people of the Sudan. . .where is the outrage of those women and children being shackled and starved to death by the thousands. It is hard not to have a heavy heart these days but we should always remember that the “joy of the Lord is our strength.”

The McTurd is supposed to be a former pilot. He should know better than this. The Muzzies shouted "Allahu Akhbar" just as they drove the airliners full of innocent men, women and children into the towers. Normal people DO NOT say "Thank God!" before they crash. Their last words are ALWAYS, Oh **it!!!

I think likewise.

The GOP-e has to be aware that a vote for intervention in Syria is likely to be a "Ripon" moment, so why are they persisting? Is it just Saudi money? Are a couple of them going full-blown Grover Norquist (or just now admitting to it)? I still maintain that it is going to take only a handful of Republicans - or maybe just the right one - to start the ball rolling; I believe with all my heart that the speed would pick up faster than John McCain can diss a conservative... especially after the crap sandwich the GOP-e put on the menu today.

McCain is a puppet. Whose hand resides deep in the Senator’s alimentary canal is the question that needs to be answered.

John McCain is so interested in what is going on in Syria that he plays cards during the hearing, Obama was probably golfing and they want us to take them seriously on anything.
Not happening here.

It is time to take America back. . .beginning with the rainbow which means “God’s promises” instead of the perversion that we have allowed to permeate in this country. Secondly if we don’t outwardly stand with Israel our nation is history. . .we will be toppled to third world status (as if we aren’t heading that way).

Where are the Judeo-Christian leaders? Most have wimped out, have become complacent and do not stand for anything.
“IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW A PARKED CAR”.

If it weren’t for the posts on FR by God fearing people I would really be depressed . . . at least reading comments gives me hope that we aren’t gone yet as a nation.

You’re so right! The next rube candidate thrust upon us by the GOPe will undoubtedly be a has been “passed over”. Worse yet, the candidate could be a full blown Rhino looking Rhino from Jersey.

“full blown Rhino looking Rhino from Jersey” is an understatement. He is an example of a “full of himself” person. We need leaders with a servant heart let alone attitude. A trait very much lacking in our government. Where is the sacrifice?

I do believe his new bestest friend forever and mentor Hussein (piss be upon his name) has been feeding them this mess in those lovely dinners. Now, how can they tell such a charming man that he doesn’t know his own religion?

That’s some image, him sitting there playing video poker while they decide how best to convince Congress to vote for having America arm, fund, and back militarily, our own enemies. I can certainly see how the antichrist will come to power and convince people to do things they were warned against over 2000 years ago.

Well said! After thinking about your point more, that is the very problem with 85% of the representation sitting on their fat A$$es in D.C.! They don’t view themselves as “servants” of our country or we the citizens.

Regretfully, two classes have developed...the Elite and the rest of us. A far cry from the founders swearing their very well being, lives or futures to one another and the cause.

These elected fakes of today can never compare! They have no integrity, take no personal responsibility nor hold themselves accountable.

Example: Boehner...Crying Farce! Not a bone in this jelly fishes body!
Obama...Joke! Liar, fake,
Schumer..I puke at the very thought of this fool!
Pelosi Galore...Dear god help us!
Mclame...Lost his damn mind, this fool actually wants more destruction in Syria., fool!
Name the next one

Dear god almighty, we are in a bad way!
