Nothing happens overnight. They have announced their agenda since the Beatnik era in the 50s, stepped it up after the Stonewall Riots of 1969 and have been making a point of seeking government positions ever since, many behind the scenes (excuse the expression). All they needed was the last turn of the dice that installed Uh-Oh! and Holder. They finally got their green light.
Does this Major have a name? Or better yet, a picture?
I think we should wait until the facts come out in his court martial. So far everything I am hearing about this case is only coming from one side. If he is being punished for his religious beliefs, then the Air Force is going to drop this because it exposes them.
As soon as they let women into positions of power in the military, it goes the same way it has gone in the mainline churches: first come the women who aspired to take on traditionally male roles; then because of their gender issues that made them aspire to male roles they in turn start bringing on the gays and lesbians. Then they run a campaign of covetousness and payback. The lesbian pastor of a UMC church I went to used to mail people a list of sins with "theirs" highlighted in yellow, while of course picking fights and gossiping so she could bar people who disagreed with encouraging homosexual behaviors from trustee or board positions.
It could have gone differently from long ago if Christian men had upheld the equality of women taught by Christ in the first place, such as not engaging in domestic violence, being willing to pay women a fair wage when the industrial revolution became entrenched and people moved off the farms. Or if men in business settings had not taken sexual harassment to the extremes that they did -- my early career days were like MadMen, being hit on or coerced constantly by bosses, co-workers, suppliers and clients -- it was so bad I had to leave corporate life and go into business for myself, with all those headaches. Unfortunately when an organized pro-woman movement picked up steam in the 70s, it was not church-based like the Civil Rights movement of the 50s-60s had been; "Women's Lib" was dominated by non-Christians, lesbians and commies who were anti-male and anti-marriage. They fought back to the other extreme, and now look.
These things don't happen in a vacuum. That said, I pray that this case is used by God to establish legally the right to conscience in the military. The idea that your superior officer can command you to deny your religious beliefs is very scary -- but it is also a slippery slope, as the foofarah about whether Hasan had to shave his beard has shown. When rights are established based on religious belief, the same crap can be used by the 2% of Americans who are muslim.
There is no, repeat, no political path to salvation. And few Christians can escape this life without some form of crucifixion.
I am not quite sure about that? Shouldn’t we work to ensure that the military still has sufficient numbers of legit American patriots who will take an actual stand for American liberties if push comes to shove and someone tries to force them to turn against ordinary American citizens?
I feel deeply for any decent people who are going through this kind of coercion and attempts at thought control but the last thing we want is a military where all the legit patriots have abandoned ship and our military is nothing but Obama’s cronies.
I will be watching this case so lets see what develops...
It’s knd of scary that people still can’t see how this came about. It makes me worry that they’re not going to see how the next outrageous infiltration and takeover is occurring, right before their own eyes. It’s like a precursor to the “strong delusion” the Bible tells us will come upon people.
As a retired military man, I do my level best to talk any kid out of going into the military today. I tell them their lives are not worth losing over a bunch of liberal politicians who will play with their lives to make points for themselves. So far, I am batting 100%.
I find it interesting that our military is continuously treated as a “progressive’s Petri dish” when attempting to manipulate cultural values and morals for the “betterment of society”. Sadly, the constant politicization of the military’s very own code of conduct does more to undermine the hypersensitive trip-wire ethos of an organization trained and equipped to kill people in the Constitutional defense of our country. But then again, maybe that destabilization is the real goal of those making the changes - many of whom have never stood in the very boots they are impacting. If you cannot lead the country to change to your view of nirvana, why change an organization’s system that you are entrusted to oversee while you briefly maintain a political office - if only to because you can by brute force and executive privilege.
Dictators abound in America and especially in DC where idiot bereaucrats elected by their useful idiot communist democrat base are destroying the rights and liberties of all American cititzens beginning with the Christians and conservatives and ending with those fools who elected these monsters to office.
Its an evil day when the communist left destroys their enemies for their religious views. A pervert lesbian demands that a Jesus Christ saved sinner demands that he bow to her is intolerable in what was once a Christian country.
If Lt Col Lakin’s court-martial is any indicator, the judge will say that he/she doesn’t allow Monk to claim anything as his defense, will say that anything Monk could say about fact or law is “irrelevant”. That way the good military people who might sit in judgment can’t even hear a defense on which to base an acquittal.
Stealing the livelihood, reputation, and savings/retirement of good, faithful military men? That’s what this regime does, and there are a lot of good people right here at FR who believe the military men were asking for it - just like every beaten woman was asking for it.
Once you’ve got your grinder set up there’s no limit to how much meat you can process in that grinder. The precedents that have been set already through the farce of a court-martial they put Lakin through are a grinder, and it’s just a matter of time before they will grind up anybody who doesn’t toe the regime’s line.
Everyone used to ask how "the good Germans" could have let Hitler and the genocide of the Jews happen right under their noses. Now we see.
How does the entire country get their attention now?

Probably wouldn’t take much to find somebody who could prove it a lie though.
Also it would sure mess up the “I was born this way” argument if she claims she wasn’t gay when she said otherwise (if she said otherwise) but only became gay last year when it became acceptable to the military.
I never ran afoul of the UCMJ and was never involved in anything overtly “political” of “controversial” while in uniform.As a result I’m pretty naive regarding such issues.Under what circumstances in a member of the Armed Forces allowed to talk to the press or to make “public” statements? I think I read that if you’re off duty,not on a military installation and not in uniform you can do as much “politics” as you want.
We’re trying to figure out how to pay for our kids’ college education. Dave Ramsey talks about staying out of debt by paying for college through military service. My kids know better than to even consider it because they’ve seen what even little old me has been subjected to by this regime.
But I’ve got nephews who are in, and at least one of them automatically writes off any claims of corruption within the government or military as “crazy conspiracy talk”. Those who dutifully spewed the “birthers are crazy” line have set this country up for this. They’ve solidified the “mainstream” position that facts don’t matter, and corruption is impossible within our system. IOW, they have made it so that any whistleblowers will be written off automatically. Really, really dangerous - and the crap we’re seeing now is a result of Obama and his henchmen seeing how far that kool-aid can go.
It goes far. My extended family is all Christian and all politically conservative. But they are busy living their lives, haven’t checked up on facts, and rely on Fox, at most, for accurate reporting. They’ve swallowed the kool-aid when it comes to the “you must be crazy if you think there is a conspiracy to destroy this country”. Their eyes glaze over if you mention any facts. Satan is the Father of Lies, and he has learned that if you couch the lie in “politics” you can get otherwise-discerning people to believe anything. Truth matters. When we ever accept otherwise, we leave ourselves wide open, and Satan and his minons go for the jugular.

How long until the military commanders start reliving people of duty because they hold different political views?
