How about Congress vote to stop the funding of military weapons to the Syria Rebels whoever they are.

I think McCain could save Obama’s ass by demanding regime change! The “Progressives” could point to Crazy Uncle John as an example of what they’re saving Syria from.
‘Deal with us or you’ll have to deal with him!’

Forget the original Syria question!

“The U.S. will NOT have the terms of Syrian surrender of WMD dictated by Syria’s largest advanced weapon provider!”

“If I only had a brain!”

Agreed. Our arms to these “rebels” has done nothing but extend this war. Assad would have put it down by now and while brutal, the people could have gone back to living in relative peace.

If the rebels do have access to chemical weapons, then this is an obvious setup. After the UN leaves with Assad’s chemical weapons, the rebels stage another false flag attack, Obama claims Assad was holding out on the UN, and it’s back on.

Then I think you Senator McCain should ask Reed to let the Senate vote for the War Act tomorrow! Then push to have Boehner have the Congress vote the next day!

Can this mean that McCain’s Head Can No Longer Be Mistaken For One Of Obongo’s Hemorrhoids?

“Why would anyone of sound mind give Obama permission to declare war in the future?”

Because the Saudis and Qatar want control of the gas pipeline ... and could threaten to tank the US dollar.

Remember guys, the final objective is to get this voted on in the House, and prevent Obama from destroying America further.

I agree, but McCain is spearheading this war ... and other agendas.

(Syria) proposal, led in part by Republican Sen. John McCain and Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer,

After the UN leaves with Assad’s chemical weapons

I don't think Syrian CW can be transported. They have too much of the stuff, and who knows how many of those bombs are unstable and ready to spill the contents. The weapons will have to be destroyed in Syria, using US or Russian technology, at a facility that is built for the job. It will take years. While that's happening, the CW depots will be guarded by international forces. Assad will have a pretty good alibi.

The argument of "he hid one or two barrels of Sarin" won't work because it's impossible to disprove. If someone is murdered we don't arrest the neighbor just because he could have had the weapon. We investigate to find out if he did have one. Anyone can have a barrel or two of Sarin - it's a pretty old chemical, well known and well understood. In case of a chemical attack, like the one that happened recently, the proper response would be a police investigation that discovers facts, clues, evidence that points to specific people. And besides, what is the military value of a few chemical bombs?

I believe the real object is, and always has been regime change. The chemical weapons attacks were just manufactured pretense to lend an air of legitimacy to Obama using the US military to intervene on behalf of the MB, for the purpose of replacing secular governments with caliphates in the region. No matter what happens with those chemical weapons, he intends to attack Assad and give the Islamists an opening to move in and take control.

Don’t know that we are.

I don't know that we are either, but I'd bet on it.

There's an agenda a play here, not sure what it is but it seems so.

JMHO.

If Obama’s strike was for the purpose of deterring the use of chemical weapons, that certainly is common sense.

If it doesn’t work....then you go back to Congress and the UN....Obama is trying to be sneaky and get “unrestrained” approval for a strike passed.
