This is VERY difficult to say ... it is, in fact painful ...

BUT ... "what if" ... (in fact) ...

"Juan" McCain is actually dumber than Putin's "Monkey with a Hand Grenade" ?

Key senators draft alternative Syria resolution
By Kasie Hunt and Carrie Dann , NBC News

After an apparent diplomatic overture from Russia Monday, a group of U.S. lawmakers are working on an alternative congressional resolution to deal with Syria and its use of chemical weapons.

The proposal, led in part by Republican Sen. John McCain and Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer, could replace the limited authorization of force that a key Senate committee approved last week with a congressional directive to the United Nations, a source familiar with the negotiations said.

The alternative legislation would direct the UN to pass a resolution confirming that chemical weapons were used in Syria. Then UN officials would go in to the civil war-torn country and remove existing chemical weapons caches by a certain time.

If those steps don’t take place, the resolution would then authorize the president to use force.

Other lawmakers involved in the Senate’s new negotiations are Republicans Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire and Saxby Chambliss of Georgia as well as Democrats Chris Coons of Delaware, Carl Levin of Michigan and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania.

There has to be a way to prevent clowns like John McCain and that super-clown Al Franken from ever holding any sort of a high public office. You could require a secret-level (minimal) security clearance and a score of at least 130 on an IQ test and a valid driver’s license for starters.....

Here is what McCain needs to say:

Russia is the new power broker in the Middle East. Our president gave up that position through his dithering. God keep Isreal safe.

They made deals without our approval and now we’re supposed to uphold our end of their bargain.

At this point I have very little compunction about handing scum like McCain over to their masters.

Note to John McCain - the Middle East is now, for all intents and purposes, a hegemony of the Russian Federation. Syria and Iran are among their fiefdoms, and they hold title to the allegiance of those countries.

I guess an uneasy alliance of Shi’ite and secular Muslims will be the controlling force for the present time. The Saudi royal family ain’t gonna like this much.

Not like anybody ever gets to vote on these things in the Middle East anyway.

Don’t know that we are.
The dems in congress are milque toast.

Middle eastern regimes fine. Russia and China, they are wetting their panties.

Putin won’t be backing down. Any war here not only won’t be over soon - there is zero chance of headfaking their base into thinking it won’t be a meatgrinder and they loose all of the white guilt voters.

Obonghit is checkmated, the arab spring has collapsed in Egypt and will collapse in Libya so backing Obonghit after what is now a string of losses is a losing proposition for Reid whatever his blackmail material.

Perhaps Soros has angered God. Or merely amused him.

What is Kelly Ayotte's problem?

Why would anyone of sound mind give Obama permission to declare war in the future?
