Now the proper medicine would be to repeal the stupid laws as well...

Now if they would just recall that governor hoopnlooper or whatever the heck his name is! He’s got to go! 2-faced freak, first was against the tougher gun regulation then happily signed it into law. VOTE HIM OUT!

Libtards move from state to state, fouling their nest and then traveling on. Destroy New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, Maryland. Then when taxes, regulations, employment, and living conditions become intolerable, enter New Hampshire, Virginia, California, Colorado and turn them also into blue, bankrupt, prostrate, crap-covered basket cases.

WooHoo!

My reverse-osmosis, MSM-Fu is strong this morning! I went to NBC News.com first this morning (keep your enemies closer, etc.) to see if the Colorado recalls won. I knew that they had when there was no coverage whatsoever.

Unfortunately, this won’t even cause a ripple in California. This State is a lost cause. I just hope I can get out before they won’t let me out... ;-(

The pro-Second Amendment candidates were so outspent by rich bastards like Bloomberg and a few others... Plus the usual gun grabber orgs.

These victories are so much sweeter due to being outspent 5-1? 9-1?

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a staunch supporter of stricter gun laws, donated $350,000 to Morse and Giron. Billionaire philanthropist Eli Broad gave a separate $250,000 check to help the legislators, while Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) repeatedly issued fundraising calls for Giron in emails to her supporters. The Denver Post reported Monday that those in Morse and Giron’s corner had collected nearly $3 million, while proponents of the recall raised about $540,000.

“One thing is clear from the Morse defeat: Mike Bloomberg is political poison,” NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said in a statement.

The NRA spent heavily on the recall effort, reporting at least $360,000 and funneling unspecified dollars through its nonprofit arm. The billionaire conservative Koch brothers also entered the fray, using their advocacy group Americans For Prosperity to target Morse and Giron. Due to the organization’s nonprofit status, AFP also did not have to report its spending to the Federal Elections Commission.

My opinion is white men turned out to vote here for gun rights in far greater numbers than for Mitt Romney. The Obama-pukes were successful in painting Romney as a rich out of touch billionaire who did not care about white working class Americans from middle class on down.

So white men (too many of them) sat it out and voted for neither Romney nor Obamna

I read the article. It glosses over the huge spending advantage by the anti-Second Amendment types, somewhere between 5-1 and 8-1.

It just mentions, late in the article, that the anti-types outspent the pro-constitutionalists. In the early part of the article, it implies that the spending was similar.

The thing is, it isn’t just about gun rights anymore. A lot of us who don’t like guns support our constitutional rights not being trampled on, thus support the second ammendment. I do think that’s an unintended consequence of (1) Obama labeling Snowden a traitor and (2) the feds taking over control of our bodies with Obamacare.

And the really good news from the article is that this happened in districts that tilted Democrat!

Recall proponents were outspent six to one:

http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_24046748/outside-money-shows-national-interest-colorado-recall-elections

And in both recall districts, Democrat registration outnumbered Republican registration.

The commie media will spin this as a victory for the NRA even though this was a spontaneous grass roots effort and the NRA didn't get involved until after the recalls reached the ballot. That is, of course, when the commie media bothers to report the results at all, since they'll simply pretend this never happened, though of course if the recalls had failed, there would have been endless news shows, articles, and pundit commentary for at least a week.

It seems to me that the recall forces need to identify some more candidates for recall and keep moving.

If repeal of these unconstitutional laws is not the object, then what is?
