Sources: US weapons stolen in Libya raids, fueling Special Forces pull-out

Highly sensitive U.S. military equipment stored in Libya was stolen over the summer by groups likely aligned and working with terrorist organizations, State Department sources told Fox News -- in raids that contributed to the decision to pull Special Forces personnel from the country.

The stolen equipment had been used by U.S. Special Forces stationed in the country. Lost in the raids in late July and early August were dozens of M4 rifles, night-vision technology and lasers used as aiming devices that are mounted on guns and can only be seen with night-vision equipment.

"This stuff is how we win wars. The enemy doesn't have that," one source said.

At least ol’ Jimmah was IN THE MILITARY before....................................It ought to be a part of the Constitution that any future Presidents must have served HONORABLY in the US military. Yeah, John Kerry and John McCain notwithstanding..............

(from the article)"Lost in the raids in late July and early August were dozens of M4 rifles, night-vision technology

Is this sorta like the 20,000 missing M-14's that were lost/ stolen in Quatar from an unsecured warehouse ?
.. Just more of the same !
At the same time our own _Resident is attempting to take away American citizen's 2nd amendment rights ?
Does anybody else see the inconsistancies in this administration ?
I don't trust his judgement , or his speeches !

Obama is the most incompetent commander in chief we have ever had...

He is NOT incompetent.

This has been the plan from Day-1...and he's succeeding!

Oh great. Now they have infrared spotters and beacons and AN/PEQ-2s and maybe even blue force trackers with GIS. Not to mention the firmware/software in them and whatever historical data they contained.

Some of that stuff will reveal it's position, so maybe we wanted to let at least some of it fall into enemy hands to see where it ends up.

Of course, none of these “thefts” ar actually thefts. They are transfers of weapons to the insurgents made to look like thefts and the same with the ammo being bought by DHS. Obama is arming the MB right in front of everyone’s faces and they are too dense to notice.

Good reply.

Did the Russians actually sell any SA-24s to Libya?

Also, the SA-24 isn’t necessarily mounted (as shown in your picture), it is very capable as a shoulder lauched system (weighs only about 40 pounds).

The GOP won’t investigate this because they blessed it.

Treason.

In fairness I heard experts determined that some of the Bengazi SA-24’s were sourced from the Czeck Republic, or nearby.

Luckily I heard most of the guesses put the majority of the load as being SA-7’s.

So it’s not the very best stuff.

Hey Wally, ain't it kinda dumb to go and let the bad guys take your weapons and stuff?

Well no Beaver, we didn't let them take them, they stole them.

Oh..ok Wally, that's different, I guess.

I don’t trust his allegiance.

He doesn't have an allegiance .. , only an agenda !
All of his actions point to the success of that agenda.
When was the last time you saw an unsecured , not-guarded armory ?
Or a state of the art electronics without a self-destruct charge ?
Insanity is the act of repeating the same exact behavior and expecting a different outcome
If the Benghazi outpost attack was Fast and Furious Part II
Then this is Fast and Furious Part III ~ 'the insanity repeated' , and I think the leadership did this intentionaly

I don’t disagree with anything you are saying. But I think this armory theft is a head fake. It’s a red herring designed to lead away from the real reason these SF guys were pulled out of Libya. They were getting close to nailing the Benghazi attackers.

“future Presidents must have served HONORABLY in the US military. Yeah, John Kerry and John McCain notwithstanding”

The character of Kerry’s service was not honorable. He should have been court-martialed for cowardice in the face of the enemy.
