Polling agency Survata conducted a survey or 8,546 people to determine the initial perceptions of America's newest cable news station. They asked respondents a straightforward question: "Do you perceive Al Jazeera America as an objective news source?"
According to the survey, only 18% of Americans view AJAM as an objective new sources, and 31% did not. Over half of respondents did not have an opinion.

Oh, I bet Al-Jazeera will play it straight for the most part, especially in its early days here. There will be well-financed journalism to give them a veneer of respectability on a variety of topics. After a while, and at an increasing rate, they’ll start slipping in the Muslim sympathy viewpoint. It will be insidious.
I trust it more than MSNBC.

Now the question becomes, who do you trust more? Al Jazeera or MSNBC?

I’m very disappointed by my fellow Texans, we should be sitting at 0%. Must be Austin contaminating the numbers.
Al Jazeera is here because we have millions and millions of Muslims here, plain and simple. That plus the fact that liberals are predisposed to intake horseshit dogma of that kind eagerly, as long as they can blame it all on Bush or some Republican.

Why do they need Al-Jazeera when they have MSNBC?
Blue-state women will not have an issue with converting and donning a burqa, either.
Stop accepting Orwellian double talk. States that lean democrat are Red and states where traditional Americans live are blue states. Red — Marxism/Communism. Blue - True blue, loyal to the Constitution.
Anyhow, if you dig in more closely to the survey data, you will see that Google Chrome users tend to be very gullible, apparently.
