Police say four people and one officer have been shot at the Washington Navy Yard on Monday morning.
Police are looking for the shooter. He is described as a black male with a dark complexion, approximately 5'10" to 6 feet tall, 170 pound with a black shirt and black hat, according to CBS affiliate WUSA. He is believed to be barricaded somewhere and have multiple guns.

Could also be a local denizen, Anacostia and that area from the Navy Yard to Marine Barracks at 8th and I has never had a great reputation for safety.

Bill Hemmer (I think that's his name) pushed for more details on the guy, such as height, weight and race.
The drone on the other end of the phone said "that information is not available to the public at this time" or some other PC nonsense. From the tone of his voice, one could suggest that he knew the perp is a black guy, he just didn't want to admit it.
It's good to see a valid description is now available, despite the Orwellian efforts of our government's intentionally obfuscating losers.
