NBC News reports that Aaron Alexis was armed with "an assault-style rifle, a shotgun and a handgun" when he was killed in a shootout with authorities. Law enforcement told NBC "they believed he arrived packing only the shotgun, which he bought last week from a gun dealer in Lorton, Va., about 20 miles from Washington."
The Washington DC local NBC affiliate says that sources informed them "that surveillance footage showed that he began his attack with a shotgun, but was found with a 9mm pistol and an AR-15 assault rifle."
The suspected gunman appeared to have seized firearms from two of his victims as he moved through the building along the Anacostia River in southeast Washington, where 3,000 Navy employees go to work each day, many of them carrying authorized firearms.

I am no conspiracy loony.
But multiple reports said the gunman was a lousy shot, yet 12 dead and how many wounded, zero?
No way! I mean, after all, those guys are the PROS!
Here we see, just like Boston some months ago -- for all their cool tactical gear, training, attitude, comm & material support, media cheerleaders and all the rest, these 'warrior cops' sure don't really seem to accomplish much.

It is hard for me to take this story seriously. Even when it is covered by right leaning sources. I think they should blow the Presidents Kabuki theater off, and stick to what we need to know.

You know darned well what they will say, FRiend. I remember Chuck Schumer, in the 1980’s or ‘90’s (after a high profile knife attack) calling for strict new gun controls. They simply DO NOT CARE if they make no sense.
