House Republicans started the shutdown clock ticking today with a bill that would fund the government through the end of the year but defund Obamacare.
If the GOP really does force a government shutdown will the media fairly assign blame, or will they strive inanely for balance, carefully allotting blame to each side Yes House Republicans are making unreasonable demands but Obama's to blame as well because he has utterly failed to persuade Republicans not to make unreasonable demands reality be damned?

We’re wasting our time trying to work with the DC/NYC media.
That’s part of the reason why the House should adjourn on October 2nd and send their members home. So they can fight the media war in their own districts.
The author of this comment has just made an unsupported assertion claiming that the Republicans have made unreasonable demands.
Just what is unreasonable about defunding a destructive, highly unpopular, and counterproductive law that cannot be implemented as written?
What is reasonable about passing a law without reading what is in it? Maybe the author should explore that fact. Maybe the author should report on what Democrats have said about this law being a "train wreck." Maybe the author should retire in shame and disgrace.
The RATS’ ‘War on Women’ is just around the corner. It’s cyclical.
Obama is the “helpless mark” of “playground bullies”? The guy loses all credibility with that analogy.
Well said!
GOP needs to repeat over and over how Obama brags that he will not negotiate with Republicans (on debt limit) , some are doing it now but we need every one to repeat it.
Shut the beast down. We’ve had more than too much of socialist infestation under the Obama regime.
I made it up to “fanatic”.
Hahahaahahaahha
The 'sun' 'sets' in the 'west.'
Now is the time to get behind the Rs...which some find hard to do. We won and now Cruz and others are taking a beating by the media/RAT scum.
Calls and emails of support are needed now.
