This was the FIRST time I ever saw Van Hollen so flustered it was a joy to watch! Must be like what happens when Fishtalk gets into the local politics..watch the fur fly!!!ha.
Obama thought that if he did not implement the employer mandate they would not take action to gear up for Obamacare before the 2014 election. Companies plan ahead and have begun to cut hours and employees and dump many into the exchanges. They are blaming Obamacare for this. This is happening right before the 2014 election and that is the last thing he wanted. I have noticed that CNN and other leftist media are not reporting a lot of what the companies are doing because of Obamacare so it is vital to get the word out and if possible have a long list of companies so they cannot say it is just a few.

For me the alternative is to pick my battles.
We have about a dozen scandals that we can go after the regime on.
If done properly and we win on only a few of them we mortally wound the dems for the foreseeable future! At least for the next two election cycles. For me that's a more worthy agenda than trying to make someone who couldn't care less about the country,only polling numbers, do the right thing. I just don't see it happening.Yet I hope I am wrong. At the same time I totally understand the need to stand-up to these commie types. I just think we need to pick our battles a little bit better.
Both parties want to get rid of sequestration. I have a feeling that this will be a bargaining chip in these discussions with Obama getting increases in the non-defense portion of the budget and the Reps getting increases in the DOD budget. Just one year of $100 billion of sequester cuts is too much for both parties out of a total budget of $3.7 trillion budget.

It is defined not for profit as are a large share of hospitals. I only mentioned it since Kookcinch said profit. Profit is a great means of forcing costs down as an invisible hand. Something DC does not like or understand.

One thing I did get to see earlier this morning was Sharyl Atkisson from CBS on C-spam. She was awesome! A delight to see and hear!
She still has lots of questions for the regime most of which they are ducking hard and as fast as they can. She wants to know what Zero was doing while it all hit the fan, why the emphasis on the video and when did that (excuse") change and at the request of whom? She needs a better time line than what they have provided.She mentioned Issa in Egpyt which is a huge thing!He may have some input on the Morsi trial which may begin at the end of next month.It could spell impeachment for zero.
Atkisson also wants to know what options were available when TSHTF in Benghazi? Why was her computer hacked? why was she was threatened and once again where the hell was zero when all this went down?
I hope to see and hear more from Atkisson and soon,she's awesome.
