To: right way right

I believe he will not only survive, he will thrive.

We are hungry for honest unfettered dialogue from a damn politican.

I also believe he is the Lords care, and I find myself praying for him, and all the others who are working towards truth and honor, to be guided and protected.

Um no.

Actually I believe the costs of a decent computer should be more, and frankly much more of them should be made in America.

We are giving away American industry, to communists in China.

Thanks though for mentioning a pet peeve of mine.

:D

Back to you.

I want to buy my health "insurance" just like my car, home, flood and fire insurance, not AFTER my house catches fire, my house has been flooded or teenagers trash it.

There is no "insurance" in "health insurance," for what you are doing is immediately going to the doctor, getting physicals, shots, prescriptions, etc. so that's what makes it "expensive," that and government mandates.

One needs catastrophic for really bad things but for every day office visits for hives, bee stings, cuts and broken bones are part of every day life and should be treated differently. Then costs are reasonable for you and your doctor doesn't have to have a government compliance officer on staff!

Heh, so you only think certain things ought to be cheaper? Would love to see your list of items? Is this a personal thing or maybe what your wish for Americans?

Actually I’m trying in my own way to show you the error of your thinkging. You can’t have something for nothing and nothing that the Government does to help actually makes it so. It can make it cheaper for you at the expense of others but is it not free or really cheaper in the long run.

No I’ve become a “buy American” voter.

I used to be in your place. Strongly.

Just saying.

Well, not that you missed my point but...

Of course I’m an American first buyer but what does that have to do with our disagreement?

Maybe you are telling me that you no longer vote American?

I’m sorry if I am mus-understanding your post, but I do) but what are you saying anyway? Am becoming more confused with every post...

It sounds as if we might be at opposite sides of the American marketplace.

But if you’re getting confusing, then we’re off track.

Good talking with you.

He will NEVER get my vote. He is not qualified. I will stay home before voting for him. I respect his as a Senator, but that only requires that you be a citizen.

Without a competing Healthcare plan, we have no competing Healthcare plan.

I guess you didn't listen to much of what Cruz spoke about?

Does the Free Market ring a bell?

Under no circumstance does the Constitution allow for ANY Federal program for "Health Care."The ONLY reason health care is expensive is because the government intervened over the decades.

Everything the government touches (outside of it's Constitutional duties) it corrupts and eventually destroys.

The only true workable solution is to unwind the Federal government by 90%.

You keep talking"healthcare" are you meaning going to a doctor, getting a flu shot or what?

Maybe what you are speaking of is your portion of an insurance payment. If that's what you are meaning, what you are calling "healthcare" is really insurance but it's not even that because insurance is based upon betting you won't have something happen within a given amount of time and the system we have now isn't based upon guessing that because we are planning on "something occurring" like getting a physical. No insurance plan in the world can sell a policy that covers something happening regularly and all the time.

That should be sold as pre-paid medical visits not insurance and I'll bet there are a number of doctors who would sign on to that!

yeah!...lol...and without a government run Life, Liberty or Happiness plan...we're all screwed!!...

U don't get it do you???...You don't think free enterprise can handle health risk insurance?...You know...like car, house fire or life insurance??????....We have “rights” to lots of things..but no Government Guarantees!

Think about it....just saying...

Well damn... I was not intending to drive you off..dang it, was trying to establish a dialog which of course seems impossible these days...heh.

Actually was really nice talking to you - really do the anti-Republican types as I am one of those rascals (although for different reasons I suspect)...heh.

I must be one of the few who love my health care. My parents love theirs, and just about everyone I know likes theirs. A 3,000 page law that does nothing to lawyers is not serious about lowering the costs of health care.

We pay MUCH TOO MUCH for healthcare. That is why we ended up with socialism.

You truly are naive or a latent statist.

Please take time and study the works of Ludwig Von Mises and Milton Friedman, among others.

To repeat, the ONLY reason health care is expensive is because of decades interference by government AT all levels.

You need to focus on first principles.

Anyone who believes that some government "program" will FIX our Healthcare costs is sadly mistaken.

Please see post #34.

Healthcare costs are a function of government control.

We need to take the position of being for a better idea.

Just saying. I’m really not 100% against what many on this board are saying.

But digging in your heels it seems to me, will only bring out opposition as well.

We need to be for controlling costs, somehow.

How I do not know, but what we have now is just as broken, as what we are moving for.

That is my point.

It seems to me, to be sort of a minority view here, but now that Cruz is finished with his very good fight, what are we going to do?

I say, we need a position against healthcare costs somehow.

What? I don’t know, but being for raising costs when we’re sending jobs to China seems a particularly bad plan.
