Okay... Thanks for your reasonable reply. That seems to be hard to come by these days. Thanks, but I do hope that you will re-think your position though...heh. Sorry for that add-on...

Nice conversing with you though..., thanks for the nice salutation...

I think you want the right thing and your heart is in the right place.

If you take time to study Friedman, von Mises and others, you will clearly understand that the truly only workable solution is to advocate for the government to be withdrawn from much of our lives.

Housing, education, health care, money, etc -- all corrupted and being destroyed by government.

I always tell people, if we had the government the Founders intended, we be vacationing and living on the Moon and Mars by now.

Government are needed, but are the most destructive and evil institutions every created by man. They must be kept weak and small in order to not devour our Liberties and our lives.

He will NEVER get my vote. He is not qualified. I will stay home before voting for him.

Only people in the stupidest part of the stupid party would say something like that.

Ignorance. Pettiness. Self righteousness. Perfection in your own eyes.

Ah, now we finally find that we are of like mind! Of course, get government out of out lives! Geez, how did it take so long to get to the same conclusion! Sounds like a communication problem to me - heh!

I will agree with that, to the extent that we also bring back American jobs.

That is what has me currently on the other side.

We are shedding jobs, very quickly. We need to bring back American jobs.

Stop buying things made elsewhere.

We are dissolving.

No good will come, from America dissolving. None.

(ok enough ranting for one night)

Scott Brown was too. And I recall when Karl Rove was a magnificent Bastard.

Neither one of those two came out of the gate with the righteous fury of patriotism that Ted Cruz has shown. They were both artificially elevated by the fortuitous circumstances surrounding their arrival on the public stage.

Unlike Cruz, they did little to earn the attention and adulation they once received, and it was thusly short-lived.

GOP I was all for your fight, but if we’re going to challenge the healthcare plan, let’s have a better one.

The GOP's health care plan should be to get government completely out of the health sector.

Government is the reason it's so expensive.

America is not for freeloaders, never has been. With that said, socialist FDR’s programs have more than taken care of seniors and those that refuse to work for a living. We do not need another socialist program FORCED upon Americans. Meant to say Americans that do not have the funds to pay off the Obama Regime. Pay and you are exempt. Donate to democrats and you are exempt. The same, miserable bastards that voted CommieCare into law also got an exception from it for themselves, because they want no part of it. Only the sheeple will have to participate. Welcome to Inperial Rome.
THe land of the haves and have nots. Pay ceasar and you will not be punished. And no one calls this communist bastard out on his un-American antics. The GOP should be disbanded. They are as worthless as a warm bucket of piss.

A big reason health care costs are so expensive is because way too many people have no skin in the game.

When a huge portion of the populace pays little or nothing for health care, the rest have to pay a lot more or else health care providers will go belly up.

It’s just another means by which liberals “spread the wealth” to buy votes and create constituencies.

How I do not know, but what we have now is just as broken, as what we are moving for.

Beg to differ. What we have now provides a level of care far superior to what is available in other countries. And it insures that everybody gets taken care of, regardless of their insurance status.

The biggest single problem is: It costs too much...and Medicare is going broke, while Medicaid is driving the states to bankruptcy.

And why does it cost too much? Because the government has destroyed the dynamics of a free market, so that no charge bears any representation to its true cost.

Thus, the answer is not more government, but less government.

...what are you saying anyway? Am becoming more confused with every post...

Welcome to the club, friend. Trust me, the confusion only gets worse, the longer you keep the conversation going with C.N.N.

Been there - got the scrambled marbles to show for it.

Keep at it.

I am convinced my positions are integral with a strong America, patriotic and make good sense for our country’s future.

You seem to hold different views.

Maybe one of us, is on the wrong path.

Or maybe we’re simply on different positions, along the path.

Who knows.

He will NEVER get my vote. He is not qualified.

Hope you've got your flame suit on, because you're going to be taking massive incoming after that statement.

Unlike most here, I won't flame you for having that stance. I truly understand it, and it pains me like nobody's business that the circumstance of Ted Cruz' birth puts his eligibility for the office of President in question.

Here's my feeling on it. If the Framers were with us today, I think they'd give Ted Cruz their unwavering support. He is exactly the kind of American patriot they tried to restrict the office of President to. I have no doubt in my mind that they would take the measure of the man and pronounce him eminently worthy of leading the nation.

It occurred to me today that Obama isn't the first man to hold the office of President who isn't NBC. Neither were our first several Presidents. Of course, they included language in the Constitution which exempted the Founding Generation from the NBC requirement. All others after their time were to be restricted by the Clause 5 provision.

I honestly don't want to cross that bridge at this time, and there's really no need for me to, at this stage. Ted Cruz isn't even sure if he'll ever seek the office. If he decides to at some point, then I'll have to face the conundrum, but not today.

Today, it's enough for me that he's my Senator, and I am honored to have given him my vote to be where he is.

If Ted Cruz does decide to run for the White House he will face a battle not just from Democrats but from the Republican leadership as well. They hate him just as much as the Democrats do.

We need to be for controlling costs, somehow. How I do not know

I'd say that's rather obvious.

We don't hold different views. I want the same things you do. I'm just willing to confront the fact that we need real world SOLUTIONS to achieve our aims. You seem to think that just demanding a return to normalcy will make it so.

Even when others are giving you the answers to your questions, you bat them away and continue to wave your protest sign.

It's fine to be passionate about restoring our country, but you've got to understand that just stamping your feet won't get us there. We've got to DO things that reverse the decline - not just yell slogans endlessly.

I've always assumed it was a play on the media acronym, CNN. But now that you mention it, I'm not so sure....
