According to sources on the Hill, there is growing support among Senate Republicans to support Sens. Cruz and Lee's efforts to scuttle Sen. Harry Reid's attempt to reinstate ObamaCare funding in the House Continuing Resolution...
According to Hill sources, over 20 GOP Senators are set to buck Leadership on Friday and reject this procedural game, by voting against cloture. By some accounts, up to 30 Senators could vote against GOP Leadership, which would represent an existential crisis within the caucus. McConnell and Cornyn have publicly put their reputations on the line. If more than half the caucus votes against them, the center of power within the Senate Republicans will have shifted. ...........

Many if not most of the NO votes will be fake phony conservative posturing as insurance for re-election.

That was a very good entire posting that nailed the situation! I found nothing that I disagreed with there.
The NAMES of remaining RINOs who do not vote to defeat cloture, need to be spread far and wide for all to see... and McConnell must be defeated in his primary.
Regrettably, I fear both of my Georgia Senators will stay true to their backstabbing ways and will vote for Cloture, and then in the plurality vote, vote against the bill. But the damage will be done, and they will both come home lying about how they voted to defund Obamacare....

Again, during the Reagan years and Bush the Elders, the Dem's sent us Bills that were Rotten Limburger Cheese Sandwiches more than once ( That scoundrel George Mitchell comes to mind ) that Republican Presidents had to sign and metaphorically eat it.

I’m in New York so I won’t bother contacting Uncle Democrat and his imp, but I have the only NYC Congressman with an R behind his name. I wrote him five times in the last two months and joined 2000 of my closest friends in a one day blitz to switch him against allowing King Barack to lend al Qeada our Air Force. The pressure worked. The very next day he switched sides to our side.

Ah, many thanks....I missed it..I was up late..couldn’t sleep, and the brain was fuzzy. We are so attuned to ideology, the “right” and the “left”..that I thought maybe something was fishy...LOL
Sick and tired of listening to GOP talking heads saying o-care should be passed just so we can blame the ensuing disaster on the donks. They are willing to totally destroy the healthcare system and economy in the US just so they can maybe win a couple more seats in the Senate.
