Joe Carr has announced his candidacy for the Senate. He is running to defeat Lamar! Alexander in the Republican primary. Saturday is the 5th of 5 statewide Tea Party rallies. When the rallies were planned we had two candidates. One has dropped out. (Tennessee is a winner take all state, so this is a good thing.)

I plan to play the role of an msm type with my questions.

I am soliciting FReeper input. The questions can be “gotcha” types or legitimate ones (such as the rape exception that Aiken so badly handled.)

I will post a report.

Definitely. I'm going to frame very aggressively. Something like "Should victims of rape / incest be forced to carry the child to term?"

Ecxellent. Though it is a local matter, there is a lawsuit and may get into the Federal system. Wonder if Lamar! has opined on it?

2. Chain migration?

3. Work visas to displace American workers?

4. “Refugee and humanitarian” immigration?

5. Is our population so sparse that we need to continue to import masses of immigrants each year?

When the voters of Tennessee retire Lamar!, I wonder if his retirement home will be in Maryville or Washington. I can just imagine him walking the highways and byways of Blount County in his red flannel shirt.

A man of his personality needs to be heard and seen. I say place him and piano at The Top of the World on a water tower for example. He'd have a view his environmentalist friends he also supports the causes of would simply love. Top Of The World is a mountain top residential in Blount County fer rich folk LOL. On the Foothills Parkway.

Do you support the closing and elimination of Coal Fired Power Plants before a viable and economically feasible alternative is found and put into operation to replace that same production capacity or better?

Do you support enviromentalism not based on actual science over the economical impact such policies have on the economy?

In response to the switch to campaign against Alexander, Carr’s top campaign strategists, Chip Saltsman, resigned.
“It is because of Lamar Alexander that people like you have the honor of serving in the majority of the state legislature,” Saltsman said in his resignation letter to Carr.

The campaign referred to was one that joe ended - to unseat U.S. Rep. Scott DesJarlais. I would perhaps question Joe’s judgement in selecting Chip Saltsman.

For content, I am liking Sen. Lamar Alexander often votes with Obama, study shows. Screw that study.

Good idea ?? That appeals to both sides. Those that like Obama and those that don’t. Is that what you want ?

Your job is to get those voters out who don’t like Obama or anyone like Lamar who supports or gives into those demo-com policies. And present arguments to those that might have supported Obama to stay home by bringing up positions the demo-coms have taken the targeted group may be opposed to. Particularly any position Lamar has kept his mouth shut about.
