Calling Brit Beltway Hume!!
Calling Bill Blowhard O'Reilly!
Tom Harking wants to be Fox "News" Stooge #3.
They are SCARED of a resurging TP movement.
and these people know the MSM will give them a pass
The TEA party will bring many to justice.
Never post ANYTHING about Harkin without referencing the LIES he told concerning his service in the military. NOTHING this FRAUD has to say should be taken seriously.
They’ve created this distrust and the coming backlash.
No conservative will trust them again.
A broken down old liberal who has squandered millions of taxpayer dollars on useless pork. HE is the problem. BTW D-bag, the GOP was on the side of freedom during the Civil War. We still are.
Change every word; “America” or “nation” to “democrat” and the entire thing reads REALLY true and accurate.
Guess they don’t know what an opposition party is. They’re used to getting anything they want unopposed.
> Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) on Friday said that the Tea Party
> movement is just as dangerous for America as the Civil War.
If I remember correctly, the outcome of that war was to set the slaves free.
May the outcome from CWII be as victorious for us slaves of the burgeoning, bureaucratic, totalitarian, collectivist federal state.
I swear they have to be looking in the mirror when they say these things. They describe themselves to a “t”.
They are ultimately nothing but self serving Grifters who don't want anyone pulling back the curtain on their corruptness and venality.
Thank God for courageous men and women like Sara and Ted.
Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) on Friday said that the Tea Party movement is just as dangerous for America as the Civil War.
So he is admitting that he is a Copperhead, and that it’s just better if we all accept slavery as an institution?
“Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) will not seek reelection in 2014, he announced Saturday.
Harkin’s decision makes him the third senator up for reelection this cycle to announce his retirement. Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) and Saxby Chambliss (R-Ga.) have both announced they will not seek another term.” - Washington Post - Jan 26, 2013
Harkin is right. By giving a voice to issues that a great many people care about, and blocking any action, they are running the risk that someone will turn to the third box.
Don't want that, but it is a risk. The NSA/FBI/Homeland boys are much more worried about domestic uprisings than anything going on overseas.
Harkin:A small group of willful men and women who have a certain ideology about how our country should run and what we should do...”
Is he talking about the founders who wrote our Constitution???
sounds like Cruz hit pay dirt!!! the Libs whine when they are losing their candy!!
Let’s find out.
Where did so much political human debris come from?
It is a curious choice of words...to come from someone who has spent his productive life in Washington DC. Folks have arrived to question him...the standard of ethic...the lack of character...the inability to control one’s budget...and the general behavior that you’d expect in a Banana Republic (words from our own President this week).
The central theme of the Tea Party is fairly well defined...where exactly does tax revenue come from...how will we control it...and at what point to we dismantle government services and admit they are beyond what we can afford or unnecessary for the nation itself.
You’d think that auditors have arrived at the candy factory, asking for the books, the secret recipe, and tasking the candy factor CEO to show his true financial situation.
I would point to Greece, and the inability of its government to admit problems twenty years ago, and the continual tirade over the past two years as they fell into the pit and demanded that Germany (the only country on the face of the Earth with cash and a will to help)...then acted frustrated every single day as Germany wanted a clean book, revamped priorities on national spending, and cuts across the board. Greece would readily call Germany a modern ‘tea-party’ and curse every single day over the fact that it had screwed up.
Look at cities in California facing judges and grinning as they admit they are bankrupt and want vast new deals be stamped official. Pensions out the door....no standard of conduct...no one going to jail.
Yes, it is a dangerous time...to act comical while your ship sinks ever so slowly.
It will free millions who have been held in unjust bondage. I kind of like that. Hopefully at a smaller cost though.
“...taking over the government. Its dangerous, very dangerous. Every bit as dangerous as the break up and the Civil War. ...”
maybe this what they want (?)
... and they should be.
A small group of willful men and women who have a certain ideology about how our country should run and what we should do...
Wow. Harkin has unwittingly described his own party perfectly.
That “milestone” has planted the SEEDS for a future revolt.
“ The thirteenth rule: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”
Wrong, donky breath.
The Tea Party is here now.
The Civil War is not here...yet.
But, thanks to Obamaholes like you, it’s not far away.
And after it’s successful conclusion, I volunteer to man the guillotine - and eagerly await your little puny liberal head.
A small group of willful men and women who have a certain ideology about how our country should run..”
Speak for yourself, Tom “Phony Vet” Harkin, plus Feinstein, Boxer, Durbin, & all the other willful men & women in your cabal.
Sounds like a perfect description of liberals. Projection?
Damm right! There will come a day of reckoning.
CW, Harkin’s fellow Iowa Senator Grassley just announced he will vote NO on cloture.
What was that again, Harkin? Is Grassley “dangerous”?
And what is wrong with people like that?
Hey, Tom, underline the part where it says "He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance."
MAKE DC LISTEN: TELL YOUR SENATORS TO OPPOSE CLOTURE ON H.J. RES 59
We must oppose cloture on H. J. Res. 59, so that Harry Reid and Senate Democrats cannot sneak in funding for Obamacare. We need you to call your Senators right now: tell them to oppose cloture on H.J. Res 59 and remind them that a vote for cloture IS a for funding Obamacare.

The funny thing is, neither during the Civil War nor Now did those opposing the Fedgov want to “take it over”.
They/we just want it to leave us alone.
Not to mention gaining an inordinate amount of private wealth through insider training, and other perqs not available to the average citizen.
Not to mention his support of the VT nut case the night he performed the scream.
“Harkin said Republicans were throwing a temper tantrum and threatening to “take their marbles home” unless they get their way”
You mean like Democrats always do? LOL!!!
Yeah! Those crazy Tea Partiers calling for adherence to our Constitution! You know, demanding things like individual liberty, consistency of the application of laws and congress working on behalf of their constituencies!
Those are extremist positions to the promoters of tyranny!
Just a random collection of pissed off constituents that have been given/taken a label.
What he couldn't bring himself to say, "That is the path the average American citizen sees for taking back their government. For us communists it's dangerous, very dangerous. ... Every bit as dangerous as the break up and the Civil War."
To which I say WRONG... If we the people of this once great country cannot retrieve and revive our government of the people, for the people and by the people from this oligarchy that has been stealing our liberty then the ensuing anarchy will be much worse than the Civil War. But then that's what Harkin, his handlers and his tools are hoping for isn't it?
Alzheimer’s victims really shouldn’t be on national television giving their opinions!!!
They are SCARED of a resurging TP movement.
That is absolutely true. I’ve worked around many Dems and can say with complete confidence that they all deeply FEAR the Tea Party. Dems are used to having their way with the compliant Republicans but the Tea Party fights back.
Like all bullies, the Democrats don’t like it when somebody pushes back on them. They can’t deal with it.
But the Civil War was a good thing in the end. Where’s the problem?
The RATS like the (official) commies and the Nazis *need* an enemy they can demonize to keep the shell game going. Doesn’t matter if it’s Sarah Palin, George Bush, Ted Cruz, the “tea party”, Rush - just as long as they can keep feeding their base something to distract them with.
Wow. any doubt about the depth of Fox’s bench would be rendered null with a brainiac like him onboard.
Let's get it on...
