1. Every Republican who votes with Reid will place their seat in jeopardy and,
2. Every Republican vote above the number needed for cloture will enable a Democrat Socialist to vote against it which will be used in the next election to show that favored Democrat Socialist agrees with the large majority of Americans who don't want this thing.
Idiots!
By a fluke of circumstances I just heard from a little birdie that the Illinois Integrated Eligibility System (IES) is hosed, not gonna work, DOA. IES is how we’re supposed to connect the right people with the right policies, subsidies etc. This is from the inside, so I cannot reveal sources, but they are credible. Not that anyone should be surprised. Just confriming that we wasted another couple of hundred million taxpayer dollars. But hey, we’re Illinois, we’ve got (other people’s) money to burn, right?

We have some conservative nurse in laws in Illinois, and they started talking about this about a week ago.
Good article until the very last line: “The road away from Obamacare may be treacherous for Republicans. They should proceed wisely, but this is no time to go wobbly.”
Treacherous? After demonstrating the extent of Democrat dislike for the bill. Treacherous? Instead it looks like one of the best ways to capture Democrat voters in years, maybe even convincing some of them that conservatives understand their life problems better than Democrats (was there ever any doubt?)
Not only is it “no time to go wobbly.” It’s time to damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!
Off to make a phone call. Thanks to whomever provided the numbers...
Added comment: I made the call to my GOP Senator, a conservative, and was picked up immediately by a real person who asked my point of view and listened politely after informing me that the cloture vote has not yet been held.
Now, can anyone convince me that it’s worth my time to also call my ultra-liberal senator? Not sure it would be good for my blood pressure...
I wonder how wide spread this is? Does each state have to develop their own system?
>>You would think he could make arrangements to do one of the most important jobs he was elected to do!<<
His son’s wedding? You might not like him, but I wouldn’t share that reason for his not being in DC today with very many people you’re trying to convince or you’ll come across as nothing but heartless. You lose the argument as soon as you bring it up. His son’s wedding? (Now if it’s his son’s 2nd, 3rd, or maybe 4th wedding, well, I’d maybe start to listen to whatever else you have to say.)
It’s time to start the Tea Party Democrats to put the heat on those elected dems. Then primary the bastards.
Deroy is awesome. That noted, it must be pointed out Rush is right saying WHO will be blamed for obimmercare NOT working...that is boehner’s Congress.
You got the links! Excellent!
Liberals never think what they are doing is wrong. Any failure is always due to them not being allowed to do enough of it.
Depends. If you word it correctly you'll get to hear a staffer detonate on the other side. That's always good for a giggle.
